USCIS posted new processing times - they advanced from August 23rd to September 18th. Still means the backlog is increasing, of course, for those of us stuck there, but to be honest I expected they would move it less than that.

Of course, it also means that it'll be another 4-6 months until most of us will be outside of normal processing times...

@kromero: I expect NOA-2 for August. After getting married you AOS and file for EAD/AP. With EAD he can work. He can start looking for jobs while the EAD is pending, just not sign a congtract if and when offered until the EAD is in hand.

Hey December Filiers :)

I have 2 questions - when is everyone thinking/expecting/hoping to get their NOA2? I have been trying to remind myself it will probably be July - but some of these recent December approvals has started me thinking it could be earlier? I guess every month has been like that though, with a couple of early approvals.

There's absolutely no way of telling. And if someone gives you a specific time just remember they're wrong. There have been approvals all over the place - some early, some late, and some within normal processing. It all depends on luck for the most part. Just hang in there and think positive thoughts for the future! :)

September 18...OMG, seriously? I do not understand why California is able to process visa rapidly while the Texas Service Center is so far behind. I was really hoping for August (at the latest). My fiance cannot come visit me..I have to go over there. I just see more money adding up (visa costs and flights). When is getting someone from congress or a senator appropriate to send a letter?

A light at the end of the horrible TSC tunnel perhaps?

I've started tracking all TSC 129F petitions electronically and updating them in real-time to provide a more comprehensive and accurate picture of TSC processing times: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/548621-finally-real-time-data-on-tsc-129f-receipt-numbers-src/.

Please let me know if you want to get the updates.

Why don't they CARE??????????

...I'm sorry. Every once in a while my mind is BLOWN by the fact that we're waiting 7 months longer than thousands of others who are no different than us, and for a split second anger and tears and the weirdest feeling starts to build before I force it back down and go on with my day.

When my fiance and I were preparing to send our paperwork I was so scared of waiting 5 months for this approval. I just realized I'm at almost 5 months now and it would have been a piece of cake in comparison. That sounds a little silly that 3 extra months can make such a difference, but when you combine it with the uncertainty... it is that bad.

But I have been feeling a lot better about it all the last few weeks and time has been going by faster.

I hope you all are doing okay! I love seeing December 2014 Texas Service Center pop up at the top of the forum every now and then.

I understand oh too well how it feels. In the beginning, I was stressing over 3 months, now that its been almost double the time my stress level is off the roof. I really really wish for a miracle right about now :(

I wonder, why?...

I don't know but I just asked the mods so maybe they will respond and let me know. I'd be interested in knowing if it's some sort of TOS violation.

has anyone gotten the updates of the I-129f tracker??

Do you mean the app or the emails that waiting4awhile is going to send? The app is ok for searching around your receipt number. I use it almost every day. The email tracking from waiting4awhile are going to start Friday.

I meant the waiting4awhile updates - didn't realize they were starting on Friday. Good news :) Can't wait to see the results! Do we know what format they are coming in? An spreadsheet?
