I was the same way.....I called and called until I got the number and then I checked it online like every hour until it said in transit I had checked timelines for my embassy that showed it only took a couple of days and mine took about a week so I was getting nervous but it finally went and was received at the embassy yesterday. I love all of the info I get from this site but Im sure the knowledge overload is probably the blame for the couple of gray hairs I noticed the other day.

haha, I hear you on that, sound just like me and I keep telling my fiance's that too but Thank God he is more patient and more realistic than I am. The overload of knowledge is definitely making me nervous, i know way too much lol.

You guys really made me feel better :)

Egg never called NVC , just wait till the doc come to the embassy , than embassy sent us an email ( instruction for package 3) and at the email was the case no.

So, I think don't worry, I did and nothing change :). My fiancé always says to me: be pation and wait. Things will go in their own way.

Hope soon you will get that answer

Jun. 5, got NOA2

Jun,22 uscis sent to the NVC

Jul, 1 case created at the embassy

Jul 14, we got the email from embasy

As you can see things moves fast

Good luck

That is true, I just need to learn to be more patient :)

waiting4areason - I think our packages were sent like a day apart (ours like last Tuesday) and we decided to wait until next week Tuesday before calling, just to keep me more sane, instead of going out of my mind if they dont have it already lol

I hope they get yours really soon! And then work on it and send it onwards too.

I hear you about the horror stories, so many things can go wrong, but we just have to believe that it will be alright :-) And hope it will be, too!

*fingerscrossed*

Thanks Mena :) Hopefully we both can be done with this process soon.

Positive thoughts from now on :)

me again guys lol :D

So me and my fiance always call each other wifey/hubby or "my wife" "my husband" I am just curious if that could be a problem for the proofs we provide because almost off of our convos are like that, for them to think that we are already married or something. I have seen a few people mention that on VJ before but I am not sure if its something we should really worry about. Any thoughts?

My Fiance and I do the same hes in my phone as Hubby and Im in his as Wifey so all of our convos show that as the person sending the message....Im not sure if it will be an issue or not Im really hoping its not it wouldnt make sense that calling someone Hubby or Wifey would make a difference if you are in no way legally or civilly married.

Hi guys,

I received an email today from the USCIS in regards to the service request in put on 8/18/2015. it stated that; they received the service request and researched the status of our case and that they had to perform additional review and that is why it is taking so long. They said I should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.

Has anyone received this before? How long did it take? What should I expect?

Hi aarawo,

sorry to hear that but unfortunately, I have not experienced that and thus could not offer much advice. Maybe they will go faster in reviewing your case now that you placed an inquiry or you can go ahead and contact your senator's office to see what they can do for you.Or you can make an infopass to know what the whole review is about and how much longer it could be. Let us know what happens and I honestly hope you get your approval soon.

Don't quote me on this as I may be way off. When I got my expedite it stated that I should receive a decision or notice of further action within 45 days from the date the expedite was approved. One week later my petition was approved and sent to the Department of State. This could mean that you will see an approval notice or RFE within 60 days. But I could be completely wrong on that.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Hi guys,

how is everyone doing? I had a quick question, have any of you been told by NVC that your case is under Administrative Processing? If yes how long does that take? and is that normal??

After 8 long painful months at TSC, I was hoping things would go a little faster. It is like a cruel, very cruel joke that after 2 weeks, my case is still at NVC, and they cannot even tell me why! all they say is that it will be sent soon :cry::crying:

At least your I-129F is approved... We are still waiting for NOA2 from TSC!!! :(. According to USCIS, our case is in "Background Checks".... Is anyone else in a similar position, still waiting for NOA2?
