trust me when I say my fiance says constantly that i stress over this too much! I just figured I worry more than him anyway...

I did email the embassy and ask about Packet 3 and they stated they would send a letter to my fiance regarding the next steps. That was on Wednesday, and of course yesterday, I (not my fiance) got a letter for him to go online and to complete DS-160 and to start to gather documents. I am thinking that will be the same letter he (my fiance) gets.

You should be hearing something any day. Have you been calling NVC?

I think you or your fiance have to complete DS-160 and pay the visa fee before requesting Packet 3. so it is highly likely that your case is at the embassy already.

I have been calling NVC since Wednesday, my case has not arrived yet. It was sent on Monday, I have no patience anymore lol. I just want things to keep moving. Honestly for me, waiting those last few days have been the hardest.

Hi Guys, quick question, when calling NVC and they ask for my case number, do I give them the SRC number or just tell them that I am actually looking for the case number?

Give them your SRC number when I called and they asked I told them I only had the USCIS number and gave them that and they can pull it up using that.

Thanks :) my case was sent last monday so today makes it a week exactly. Is it possible that it is there by now? Or could it still be a couple of days.

Mine took exactly a week to get there but there, mine was received on a Friday and I called back Monday and there was a Case No. assigned that day.

yes, you give them your SRC #, and then ask them to give you your case #, and also ask if/when they will send your case to the embassy.

So I called and still luck :( I'm starting to be really worried :/

It seems they do updates later in the day each time my status has changed with them it was in the evening and I also always called later in the day try again tomorrow morning and everyday after that they should have it any day now. Mine left TSC on a Friday I called NVC the next friday around 5:30pm and they stated they got it that day.

That is good to know. I will try again later today then to see if there was any updates and again tomorrow. I think I have read so many horrible stories here that I am beginning to be paranoid a little lol

I was the same way.....I called and called until I got the number and then I checked it online like every hour until it said in transit I had checked timelines for my embassy that showed it only took a couple of days and mine took about a week so I was getting nervous but it finally went and was received at the embassy yesterday. I love all of the info I get from this site but Im sure the knowledge overload is probably the blame for the couple of gray hairs I noticed the other day.

Egg never called NVC , just wait till the doc come to the embassy , than embassy sent us an email ( instruction for package 3) and at the email was the case no.

So, I think don't worry, I did and nothing change :). My fiancé always says to me: be pation and wait. Things will go in their own way.

Hope soon you will get that answer

Jun. 5, got NOA2

Jun,22 uscis sent to the NVC

Jul, 1 case created at the embassy

Jul 14, we got the email from embasy

As you can see things moves fast

Good luck

waiting4areason - I think our packages were sent like a day apart (ours like last Tuesday) and we decided to wait until next week Tuesday before calling, just to keep me more sane, instead of going out of my mind if they dont have it already lol

I hope they get yours really soon! And then work on it and send it onwards too.

I hear you about the horror stories, so many things can go wrong, but we just have to believe that it will be alright :-) And hope it will be, too!

*fingerscrossed*
