Thank you for this thread! While its lovely to see all CSC people getting approved, its a bit annoying to know we'll be waiting for our NOA2 around April-May unless some miracle happens! -1 month dow

My NOA1 hard copy was sent to me on November 18..I am very worried because I keep seeing the end of November approvals and not many from around my time. Should I be concerned?

You are not alone. My NOA1 was received around the same time, and awaiting for my NOA2.

I received my noa1 on november 17 and no noa2 yet :(
and what about the processing time ?? can we trust Uscis website or visajourney ?? September 18 or October 30 ?

My lawyer has recently received k1 approvals that were filed just before mine. He said there is nothing we can do except wait but he thinks I will hear within a couple weeks.

Was so shocked had to read it a few times because was automatically seeing "Case was received"

We're both thrilled. The long wait is over.

Hope everyone who is still waiting gets processed soon, and this gives you hope they are actually doing some work.

23rd October 2014: Petition posted.

1st November 2014: Form I-129F received - we received text and email.

2nd November 2014: Physical NOA1 received. Form I797c, Notice Of Action. Notice Type: Receipt.

(January 21st 2015 - told through phone call to expect NOA2 in May due to backlog.)

4th June 2015: NOA2 "On June 4, 2015, we approved your Form". No email, no text - just happened to check their site.

9th June: Received hard copy.

16th June 2015: Case Was Sent To The Department of State for visa processing.

  • As of November 3, 2016 We received an email in regards to not receiving in the mail the Request for Evidence (RFE) , come to find out they really didn't need any additional information. So now the have to wait another 120 more days before we can get an interview or approval. This is some BS.
  • As of February 7, 2017, We received in the mail Interview Date for AOS on March 20, 2017

What's the timeline again? Then my fiancee gets the packet 3 and 4? NOA 2 > NVC > Local Embassy > Medical > Interview > Visa > Point of Entry

Roughly about 3.5 months depending on your embassy.

just had to do the dreaded airport goodbye.. possibly the worst feeling in the world.

feels like the only people who get the feeling are everyone here, everyone at home keeps saying "oh you'll see him again soon it'll be over before you know it" and that kinda thing love to hear them say that with all the months between visits if they were going through it

can't wait for it to all be over! :(

i hope its a good week for approvals for everyone!

Hi all fun Monday update.....I called a certain Senator's office (one that is running for President) to get an update on my case. And.....oops they managed to inquire on a case one digit off, I was informed that mine was approved in April hahahahahaha As soon as they realized the error they assured me that on Wednesday I will have an update. AKA I will now stalk them and use their error as an excuse :)

It has been a month since I contacted one of my senators. And still haven't got a word from them. So I turned to another one today hoping to find out something sooner but not another month. I aslo called USCIS and asked to talk to a tier 2. Well, as usual their answer is that processing time right now at TSC is Sept 18th and mine was received in November. I was then asking her how long is the processing time because I was told it take roughly around 5-7 months. She didn't say anything for a second and then told me that she'll send a request to TSC concerning to my case status update, whatever it means. I am mad, I am desperated, I am living a life without my fiancée and it's killing me everyday. I know life isn't fair but I just can't stand it watching people who filed months after me got their approval.
