That's similar to what I got from a tier 1 that my case is " pending review" and she aslo told me it means that my case have not been look at by any adjudicator. I haven't heard back from my senator yet until next week. But anyone here might know what's " currently being reviews" mean. This journey at TSC is horrible.

Ahh...so lame. I read in a Q&A with an ex employee that from picking up a new file to approving it can generally take 15 minutes (unless RFE). ....what have they been doing for 5.5 months? and before that, and before that?

It seems absurd that something so simple can take so long - just do not understand it.

Nobody understand how it works. When people filed in april got their approval in like 9 days. Unreal. You might want to email your senator back and ask what's " currently being reviewed" mean.

I you hired a lawyer, like I did, has he done anything for you besides help fill out the paperwork?

I'm pretty sure hiring a lawyer does nothing at all for us.

What's your experience?

Hi, yeh we hired a lawyer just cos we didn't want to get the paperwork wrong and waste more time. We got a good price and a referral from a friend so figured we might as well.

No he has only helped with paperwork, haven't heard much from him since but we haven't contacted him either, I don't think they have much pull at all, which is why we went to senator. Like everyone else, the waiting just purely sucks ### :(

I asked my lawyer if there's anything she could do to get an update for my case. She texted me back saying that what's on the website is up to date. She also told me to be patient and she'll keep me posted. I don't think they help much

Yes, I guess that's what they do for $2k, fill in paper work, then we make corrections to make sure they got it right ..lol sounds like it will all work in time. Just getting antsy as it gets closer...

Keep our heads up. It will come eventually . October thread has been very busy with approval so I hope ours will be right behind.

We're getting close though, right?! 6 months since our NOA-1.

I know right. WAtching Oct filers getting their approval gives me hope. Ours shouldn't be much longer behind.

According to the latest USCIS Fairy report, if I use yesterday's processed numbers as a daily average (41) between the August to November numbers, hopefully we all would have received a decision by late- June to mid- July.
