i've got a friend who works for ICE...not USCIS but she sent some emails to inquire...was able to find out that our paperwork is apparently out for the background checks...not sure how long it will take but its better than just sitting in a stack...(heard this on 4/10; no updates as of yet)

so question...is this a background check on me? her? or both? and if her or both i'm just curious as to why since doesn't she have to get police documents at a later time?

i feel like every time we do something theres still a long wait time!

i sent off for birth certificates march 9th and still within "normal processing due to backlog"

Is it wishful thinking some of us may get approved by the end of April? ha-ha.

Hope you guys are doing okay, I have had some more meltdowns recently. This whole thing is just so terrible. I hate we all have to get mentally 'depressed' and miss our partners but am very thankful we can verbally be there for each other on here.

My fiancé' is trying so hard to take my mind off this but to be honest it doesn't fully work. It's always in the back of my mind, as I am sure it is yours.

Saying lots of prayers for everyone and hoping we start getting approved very soon. At most I feel like June may be the month it all really starts but you just never know, and I really hope im wrong ha-ha.

God can do the 'im'possible, so keep going! Each day is passing and remember you're always one day closer!

Hoping that TSC will speed up the process. My fiance called Customer Service yesterday and was told that our case is on process he was told that there should be case update within 2-3 months.

Anyways he will ensure to call them once a week and for any update I would be glad to share it here.

I'm surprised you guys are waiting this long since they're usually expediting Philippines filers, but maybe they stopped so I'm not sure. However, If that's the case then you'd have to keep checking your status to see when your case is approved... Good luck

2-3 months, yikes! That'll make it 7-8 months for NOA2. My congressman's office was also told our case is being processed. He seemed to think that was a positive thing, I'm pretty sure it means it's gathering dust somewhere for another few months. Vague is the name of the game when it comes to TSC.

I'm not sure what "in process" means. It doesn't take them long to process a case based on what is written in the VJ wiki. I think it's just some rubbish to stop the inquiries.

Absolutely, I'm sure it's "in process" from date of the NOA1 until the NOA2 according to TSC.
