I don't think it would cause any problems as long as you have the proof to show you're definitely separated.

think just make sure you have plenty of evidence to show you and your partner are the real thing and that will wipe away any doubts :)

Can I just say grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr DACA start filing Feb. 18

I can't even believe that USCIS says, " USCIS will be working to process applications as expeditiously as possible"

I. Can't. Even. Lies.

Q4: How long will applicants have to wait for a decision on their application?

A4: The timeframe for completing this new pending workload depends on a variety of factors. USCIS will be working to process applications as expeditiously as possible while maintaining program integrity and customer service. Our aim is to complete all applications received by the end of next year before the end of 2016, consistent with our target processing time of completing review of applications within approximately one year of receipt. In addition, USCIS will provide each applicant with notification of receipt of their application within 60 days of receiving it.

Q5: Will USCIS need to expand its workforce and/or seek appropriated funds to implement these new initiatives?

A5: USCIS will need to adjust its staffing to sufficiently address this new workload. Any hiring will be funded through application fees rather than appropriated funds.

Q6: Will the processing of other applications and petitions (such as family-based petitions and green card applications) be delayed?

A6: USCIS is working hard to build capacity and increase staffing to begin accepting requests and applications for the initiatives. We will monitor resources and capacity very closely, and we will keep the public and all of our stakeholders informed as this process develops over the course of the coming months.

And....... Q6........Good way of NOT answering the question. Increasing staff to begin accepting resuests is not the same as processing other applications. Rant.

I read those FAQs when they first came out. I was angered over q6, too, at the time. Today when I re-read it, I just lol'ed to myself alone in my house at the part about keeping the public informed. Bold face effing lie. The audacity. It's shocking.

Edit: and I call bs on the line about monitoring resources. They don't even do that now.

USCIS,

Please respond to the following:

You are staffing for the new workload from DACA. What about all the applications currently at TSC, stuck, months over the normal processing times. Ignored. What about our applications? Im glad that you will be " working to process applications as expeditiously as possible while maintaining program integrity and customer service.

What about your integrity and customer service with the other hundreds of thousands of applications?

Youre adjusting your staffing to "sufficiently address this new workload. What about the workload that you ALREADY have? What about us? Why wasnt the workload adjusted for our applications?

And.you answer to question 6 is stunning. Do you even see the question? You wrote it. Will other petitions be delayed? Oh, lets not answer THAT QUESTION. Go ahead and respond with,

USCIS is working hard to build capacity and increase staffing to begin accepting requests and applications for the initiatives.

SO THANK YOU. THANK YOU. YOU ARE INCREASING STAFFING FOR, OHHHHHHHHHH THE INITIATIVES. THE INITIATIVES. NOT THE CURRENT PETITIONS.

YES. IM WRITING IN BOLD. IM YELLING.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR US?

Hi guys! Hope you've been doing well. I've been pretty MIA lately just because I was tired of seeing Nov 2014 CSC (and December and January) approvals, and I was just busy :) Just wanted to write that I'm currently making a binder to bring with me to Morocco (I'll be there in 3 days :D) so he has everything possible for the interview.

I'm bringing photos, copies of my passport stamps, boarding passes, itineraries, copy of the entire I-129F, signed re-affirmation of the letter of intent, and the signed affidavit of support w/ backup documentation. I need to also pick out some convos throughout our relationship from fb and Skype. If anyone else thinks of something... let me know :)

Our story!

04/29/14: Met on a Mediterranean Cruise on the MSC Armonia

04/30/14 to 05/08/14: Traveled together on the cruise - Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia
09/06/14 to 09/14/14: Visited Morocco - Casablanca, Marrakech, and Essaouira

02/11/15 to 02/17/15: Planned trip back to Morocco!
