Bush Bashing Australian Refused Entry On Plane

Allen Jasson, an IT expert from Australia was not allowed to board a Quanas Airlines flight unless he removed his tshirt wich had a picture of George Bush along with the tagline "World's #1 Terrorist"

The reason the airline staff gave was that his t-shirt could upset other passengers. Jasson refused to remove his tshirt and later in an interview told Australia media:

"I am not prepared to go without the T-shirt. I might forfeit the fare, but I have made up my mind that I would rather stand up for the principle of free speech"

He is now seeking legal advice and could sue Quantas.

That's just stupid. He should've known better than to pull a stunt like that -- he was looking for attention. He got some!

With all the hectic security-minded business the airlines have been going through, only a moron would wear something with the words "terrorist" on it. I don't think the fact it labled Bush really had much to do with it. I think it was just the "terrorist" part that was found upsetting.

It's about the principle of free speech! It's t-shirt, he wasn't threatening anyone. He should sue, big time.

I am all for free speech, but as you said wearing a t-shirt with the words terrorist on a plane is not a good idea. He should wore that shirt at some peace rally or out on the town...but at the airport
