Medical exam - vaccine question

So I have no proof of the vaccines I received as a kid other than a little book my mom filled out. So I know I got all the vaccines needed

Is it better to get the tittertest at the doctor doing the medical exam or can I have it done by an outside company - since this might be cheaper, but I don't want it to not be accepted.

I would talk to the medical office that will be performing the physical. My finance had booster performed as part of the medical exam.

Also, my understanding is they are not necessary for the K-1 but they are for the AOS medical.

well I booked the medical and asked and she said the doctor would talk and see what would be necessary - she also said I can get the shots anywhere. I think I'll wait till the medical and hope he accepts the small book.

Check with the office you will use. I called several - some accepted the lab reports others wanted to do it themselves. I picked the one that accepted my existing bloodwork and was the cheapest.

I was in the same situation, so decided to talk to my doctor. He gave me 2 signed and stamped letters

stating that I had received "all the usual vaacinations as a child in The Netherlands" and, just to be on

the safe side, we did a re-shoot of the ones mentioned by the USCIS medical requirements table.

He wrote all of them into one of those yellow multi-language Medical Passport and Vaccination Records,

stamped the lot, and voila, Consulate accepted it (through the doctor at the Medical.) Since it was flu

season by then (Medical was at 27th Nov) I also made sure I had gotten the flu shot from my own doc.

So, no extra shots needed beyond that, and it was very cheap this way!

I tought I'd update in case anybody with the same issue reads this.

I had my medical today and the doctor was awesome he accepted my little babybook as proof of vacination even without it being translated in English. I'm just missing a few shots and I can get them at my usual doctor so my insurance will pay for them. So my best advice for everybody is to contact the doctor you are going to first and check before spending money.
