AOS AND IV PACKAGE SENT SEPARATELY

Hi everyone!!!! I was just browsing some of the forums here and encountered a phrase that says we must send both the aos package and the iv package in one mail at the same time but what happens with me is that my husband sent the aos package right just after the aos fee changed to paid and i sent the iv package after the iv fee status was changed to paid. We were acknowledged by NVC that they received both packages and told us that review will be 60 days.. but according to the one i read there will be a delay in sending the papers separately... has anyone encountered a delay after sending the packages separately?

I am so anxious because the 60th day of our papers will be 2 days from now :(

There's no specific delays either you send them together or separately.

Apparently they changed their process but I don't know too much about it.
But we sent them separately and they got it. A lot of people received the 60 days notice.

Hope it'll go well for you guys, on our 60th day we got a checklist notice, so another round of 60 days for us!

This process is ridiculously too long, but do we have a choice? No.

Good luck to you! Fingers crossed!

Peace!

Oh thanks AntoineK but why did you get a checklist? They said that sometimes they send false checklist which is like a generic checklist and one that asks for specific requirements.

But it is encouraging to hear from you that they stik to the 60 days period of the process :))

Goodluck for us :))

Hi

Do the NVC count 60 days from AOS scan date or from IV?

We had sent AOS package on Oct 23rd, but for us IV has not been invoiced yet.

Good luck

@mkhandrika I am not really sure but they said that they received aour aos package on the 3rd of October and the iv package on the 6th of October so I am hoping by the 7th of December Philippine time we will be able to hear a feedback from them... hopefully it will be a good news.

Why is your IV fee not invoiced yet? Maybe your beneficiary needs to fill out the ds-261 form first... i remember a day after I completed it the IV fee was invoiced and we paid it right away...

Anyways I am hoping that everything will go well with our petitions

If they don't contact you on the 60th day, make a call on the 61st, cause that's what I did and they told me "oh you're supposed to receive an email in 3 or 4 days with the checklist" and all of a sudden like 30 minutes after, they sent the email to both of us.

So I was like, oh I thought I was about to wait 3 or 4 days... So, see? They just forgot about me and my call made them send an email right away. I think you have to show them you're here and you're waiting for them.

And it was a real checklist, cause it was very specific and they were waiting for it since when I called them to check if they had received it, they told me it was under process.

Yea cause their email system "has issues" lately. So if they don't send you an email to tell you they received it, then call them. Even tho you know they have it cause with the USPS tracking number you can know that.

And the 60 days start as soon as they receive them and opened the package.

But guys, call them as soon as you have questions, it's better when they know you exist!

I am the beneficiary and my hubby has been calling NVC every 2 days. They had reviewed DS-261 on Nov 18th and we were told that IV will be invoiced in last week of Nov. But it didn't happen. They said there are some issues with email services, and IV will be invoiced soon. Last time my hubby asked to talk to supervisor, but no one was available and the rep marked our case for supervisor review. I really don't understand why its taking so long.

I really hope they invoice IV soon and we can send IV package. We are just anxious and worried if they are going to take 60 days from IV scan date and not from AOS scan date which is Oct 23rd.

Good Luck to everyone. Wishing for fast processing and approvals for all.

Hi the NVC says they will review your aos and iv together. I sent my aos earlier than iv but still haven't scan 2 weeks before the 60 days of my IV. Only to find out I have checklist.
