So you didn't have an interview? and you were approved?

Yes. I did not have any interview. Because I received Interview Waiver Letter. That's why my case longer

Normally, 2 years green card process takes around 4 months

the first 2 months, you will get advance parole document

the next 3rd or 4th months, you will have an interview

But, if anyone receive an Interview Waive Letter, their processing will be longer from 8months - 1year. Sometime, there are much people wait from 1 year to 2 years

I waited near 8 months from the application date till now to have an new update: card is being produced

You still don't receive any Interview Waiver Letter?

Just speak to a an ISO and he told that he was not able to verify why my case didn't move on and what was the reason of the de-schedule. He admitted that my waiting time is above the normal waiting time. He sent a service request to my local office to provide me with an update of my status/case. I will receive a letter to weeks from now. That's even more stressful.

For once I think we got lucky without waiting for n number of years. Hope so

Hi All

Need to breathe and type ....woohhh... Got this by checking the status " On August 7, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXX. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by October 6, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later."

I know this much that it is good news. Had a few questions and would appreciate the help/feedback

Q1. Would it actually take two months to get the green card? or this is the worst case scenario.

Q2. What is the true likely of us receiving the green card. It seems 3 weeks is the norm.

Q3. What do they mean when they state "Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by October 6, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.". - Do I have an action to complete a document form, that would support them to send the green card, I am not sure if I understand.

Thanks guys
