I filed my petition on December, 02 and still no interview scheduled. I called USCIS and ask to speak to an immigration Services officer level 2. I learned that my interview was descheduled and that it was supposed to take place on May 31st :-(

She told me not to worry since I am in a good standing. She said that that happens sometime due to unforeseen circumstances. All I have to do is to wait. :-( I have a timeframe of months.

Good morning fellow December Filers!

We had our interview yesterday 7/20/2015 @ 11am in Baltimore, MD.

The IO was so nice. We were asked few simple questions.

For hubby(PETITIONER)

1. Beneficiary's full name, birthday, place of birth.

2. IO asked if he met my family

3.Where/when did we meet? When was the actual meeting? ( in person)

4. When did he propose ?

5. Date/place of our marriage.

6. Who attended the wedding? Reception/party after the wedding.

7.Name of our 2 children

Questions for the beneficiary.(me)

1. Full name of my husband.

2. Birth date/place

3. Info about hubby's previous marriage.

4. IO asked me if all husband's family lives in MD.

5. She also asked if I have plan in going home for a vacation.

After that she told us that our 2 children are our strong evidence and she's approving the petition/application. She also told us that I will be getting my 10 yrs GC in 30-45 days.

Hello!!!

I am very happy to report that I got a letter confirming I am now a legal resident and that I should be receiving my GC soon. :goofy: .

I was getting a little worried because I am pregnant due and September and I was worried about having my interview scheduled around that time and not being able to make it, I am so happy we didn't have to do the interview.

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We received texts and emails on Friday 7/31 notifying that a Welcome Letter has been sent to our address and card has been ordered. We have not received the letter yet but our guess is that her GC has been approved?

We had our interview today, i thought it went pretty well, but the end of the interview, she handed me a letter stating that our case is held for further review.

When I asked her does it mean we are not approved? she told me that the letter simply means you are here for the interview today, and she cannot make any decision on the spot.

Anyone received a similar letter? If so, how long does it take to hear back from them? I am in the St Louis office, looks like they are so slow.....

waiting online!!!

I have exactly the same timeline Aug 1 and Aug 3 (and messages). Apparently ADIT is another name for biometrics (fingerprinting & photo)..ADIT means "Alien Documentation,Identification & Telecommunications System" (found on visajourney)
