Anyone here took the test for learner's permit in driving? What are the documents needed? TIA[/quote

I'm not sure if it differs by state! But in NJ you need 6 points! I used SS Card, EAD/AP card, marriage license, debit card and a utility bill!

I'm not sure if it differs by state! But in NJ you need 6 points! I used SS Card, EAD/AP card, marriage license, debit card and a utility bill!

We went 2 weeks ago (Houston, Texas), and they wanted...

1) GC or EAD card.

2) Social Security card

3) Two forms of formal ID or document (letter) that shows her name

and current resident address.

Do you get any notification when uscis has mailed your ead card? :)

We received no email/text message notification.

We found out about it by checking the website everyday.

has anyone received the EAD/AP combo card in the mail without receiving a tracking number status update? my husband's EAD status changed to "card mailed" on Monday, March 16 and we still haven't received a tracking number update. it seems like most people get the tracking number update within a day after the card mailed status.

We saw it on their web site. Did you check the web site?

Received dreaded "Potential Waiver" letter today. No update reflecting the letter on the site.

It also states "due to work load factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. Presently, we anticipate that delay to be approximately 6 months from the date of this letter." Letter came from National Benefits Center.

Ugh.

02-17-2-15: Received NOA I-797 letter only.....for Advanced Parole in mail.

02-21-2015: Received EAD/AP combo card in mail today.

03-19-2015: Received the "Notice of Potential Interview Case" letter in mail today.

06-03-2015: Requested to expedite due to potential loss of funds if vacation had to be cancelled due to non acceptable travel docs to Mexico.

06-05-205: Response denying expedite. Stated while sounded important, only cases strictly adhering to the "qualification" to expedite are granted such process.

08-11-2015: Sent "out of processing time" inquiry

08-12-2015: Received generic response stating that due to workload factors USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case."

08-15-2015: (Saturday@8am) received email stating a recent processing action has taken place on our case. Status:Card/Document Production

"We ordered your new card for MSCxxxxxxxx, and will mail it. You can expect your card within 30 days of approval of your application.

8-12-2015: Online status changed to "NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED" . Couple days later, received hard copy of notice.

8-31-2015: Received text notifying that "We mailed your new card"

9-01-2015: Received GREEN CARD!! 275 days from date of mailing/filing AOS.

We received a case status update (on 3/18) on the USCIS website saying that our card was delivered. This update also included the tracking number. We received a case status update (on 3/18) on the USCIS website saying that our card was delivered. This update also included the tracking number. My case status on the USCIS website was not updated. The letter just showed up in the mail.
