They are more than backed up. If you don't get an interview you will most likely get a Interview waiver letter that will tell you to wait another 6 months. Some guys have been waiting since last March, some longer. Sorry to give you all bad news, but what you really want is an interview and not the dreaded NPIW letter, as this could be a very, very long wait.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Thats the thing, even with a waiver letter you can still be subject to an interview. I am not sure about the criteria, but from what I can gather it's whether or not they feel that they need to interview and ask a few more questions. You should all join our thread. I warn you it's a very long thread about this letter, over 3000 posts. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/452854-notice-of-potential-interview-waiver-case/page-120#entry7487290
