Hi guys!

Has anyone received any updates on advance parole and employment authorization? :( How long is this going to take? I feel in limbo. This is the status from USCIS website.

On November 28, 2014, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by December 28, 2014, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Well.

You are in limbo! Hang tight - it looks like from VJ estimates that you'll hear something in the next 2-3 weeks. We are all still waiting. It's been taking approximately 2.5-3.5 months for people to get EAD & AP adjudicated. I'm hoping we hear something by Valentine's Day!

I did try uploading the picture, but I can't. I had my RFE through the post today. It was about the affidavit of support.

It says:

The petitioner/Sponsor on form I-864 affidavit of support must submit a completed federal income tax return submitted to the IRS for the most recent tax year.

The petitioner/sponsor income on federal income tax does not meet or exceed the 125% of the poverty guideline, The petitioner list their current income on the I-864 as an amount to be considered as sufficient, however, no evidence has been submitted as proof of current income.

Submit all supporting tax document (W2'S, 1099's, form 2555 and all supporting tax schedules) submitted to the IRS for the most recent tax year.

based on documents submitted the petitioner/sponsor, The income did not meet the 125% guidelines for the petitioner household.

Now, My husband makes $50.000K a year, which is more than enough. Can anyone shed some light to what exactly we need to send, Cause to be honest, I am clueless. Would it be okay to just send W2, IRS tax transcripts, pay stubs for 6 months.

Or if anyone could help me on how to upload the picture of the letter, It says the file is too big to be uploaded.

Hey,

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf.

i would advise you check this site to see if your husband's income versus number of dependents is 125% of income as required, if yes, your husband can quickly request for the tax transcript for the past 3 years from IRS, these is what they need.

You can also add the most recent pay stubs and employment letter (where necessary), but if your husband's income is less than the 125% required, fill another i-864 but this time get a co-sponsor, put the information of the co-sponsor on the i-864 and get him or her to fill the i-864a. The co-sponsor shall also include his/her 3 years tax returns (advice him/her to get the tax transcript from IRS also) and submit it, the co-sponsor can be anybody you know

Hey guys, I am new to this thread.

My timeline & details:

filed I-130, 485, AP & EAD together (adjusting from H1-B on basis of marriage to USC)

2014-12-16 NOA1

2015-01-13 Biometrics completed

Just happened to notice that my 485 case status online has changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". It's as of Jan 21st and further says "we will schedule your interview and send you a notice". I didn't get an email/text notification for this. Also, status of I-130, 131, 765 is still the same as before "Case was received".

Anyone also have the same update on their 485 status and know when/what to expect next?

There is only 2 of us living in this house. Lol! But we did not submit any evidence what so ever, just sent the affidavit of support, do you think this is why they say this? Cause we didn't send any evidence.

Edit: it says "submitt all supporting tax documents (W2, 1099s, form 2555 and all supporting tax schedules) submitted to the IRS for the most recent tax year.

What do they mean by that? Is just the w2 okay?

Question #13 on form i-864 asks for a photocopy of the tax return (or transcript) for the most recent year.

Did you not attach a copy when you submitted the form? If not, that's probably the reason you're getting the RFE.

My congressman office came back to me yesterday and they told me that they were able to reach USCIS. The good News is that my expedite request was approved but as I was suspecting they couldn't approved m EAD because they are still reviewing the response to RFE submitted. It looks like they are many offices involved by some dependencies. I should hear back from the congressman very soon as they said. Hopefully it will be by the end of this week. I am close to loose my job offer.
