Problem is, rage translates into property damage when you have ignorance in the group. This is why Ferguson was allowed to be damn near destroyed. If they would have moved a few areas over to St. Ann, St. Charles or any other place where the population was mostly white, the police and National Guard wouldn't have just sat around. There would be a body count, and no one would care since there was looting going on. This is why LA was ravaged when Rodney King was beaten and the cops were acquitted.

That's why there is a right and wrong way of rioting.

What you are missing is that police have a tough job. If a police officer tells you that you are under arrest, then you need to submit to him or her or face an additional charge of resisting arrest.

Cooperate with the police. If they are using excessive force, which does happen a lot these days, then deal with that after you are released. Learn the laws of America, and what to say to the police and how to say it. Our job as citizens is not to make their job harder, but to do our best to cooperate.

For this case, the cop should have been indicted in my opinion of just looking at the video. I was not invited to the grand jury and neither were you. Let justice play out and have a little faith in American justice. Despite the OstrichShit that is being spewed about law enforcement out of control, we still have the best legal system in the world.

cops do have a tough job. but, it's a job they choose. if you don't like your job or it's too tough to do your job without causing a homicide - maybe it's time for a new job?

yeah, couple years back we had a corner store that was selling unstamped cigarrettes from new york. i think everyone involved in the 'ring' got off with huge fines and a few days in jail. seemed a nice enough family, their kids went to school with my son and i felt real bad for them when it was all playing out in the papers and everyone had something to say about how ungrateful they were, since they were obviously foreigners. but they're all still alive. for shame, right?
