it doesn't bother you that these people had the means to travel from our southern border to Canada. it scares the hell out of me, to think our southern border open to known terrorist w/ money.

It seems to me that they were apprehended, arrested and were slated for deportation. Judicial review resulted in them being released from custody following which they made their way to Canada. They were not "know terrorists". Instead, they're labeled "terrorists" only because they self-identified as members of the PKK - not because they have been found to have participated in or perpetrated any acts of terror. You are scared rather easily, yes?

 i'm a PKK member. but, i'm not a terrorist.

It's quite possible that the individuals sought to base their asylum claim on belonging to the PKK not realizing that that is not a very smart strategy around here. Again, there is nothing that indicates that these two individuals have been connected to any specific act of terror. I'd wager a guess that had there been any connection of these two to any act of terror that they would not have been ordered released by the court.

idk. traveling with the two that remained detained for specific reasons, might be a good reason to err on the side of caution. you think?

The judge apparently felt differently. I'd like to think that the judge would probably err on the side of caution as well and he still felt that the law required them released from custody.
