NVC: Problem with AOS

So my wife and I sent in all of our forms and documents related to the Affidavit of Support and the required Civil Documents and had been waiting patiently to hear something from the NVC since early October. I just called the NVC to get a progress update and apparently they reviewed our case, yay! But wait, there was one tiny mistake on my father's (Co-sponsor) I-864 and mother's (jointly filed) I-864a forms. In part 6, item 13.a.1, the instructions say to enter Total Income, but then immediately go on in parentheses to say Adjusted Gross Income on Form 1040EZ. So my father got it just slightly wrong and put his Adjusted Gross Income instead of Total Income (he filed a regular 1040). Okay, so now that we know the mistake, we can figure it out, but I think it's a bit confusing. Why not say, "Total Income on Form 1040, or Adjusted Gross Income on Form 1040EZ." I think that would be much clearer.

Anyway, we've gotten it sorted out and my parents are going to mail the corrected versions of their forms to the NVC today. My question is, since this was really such a tiny mistake, do we really need to wait another 60 days for this to get reviewed again? I know the answer is probably yes, and there's really nothing to be done, and I know a lot of other people out there and on VisaJourney are in the same boat and just as frustrated as we are. I just wanted to throw this out there for advice, or even just a little support.

Thanks.

I just got a checklist for the same mistake! ;( and yes you do have to wait another 60 days for 1 little mistake like this...TORTURE!

I only got a checklist for Part 6, 13.a.1 "total income for most recent tax year" but because that # was incorrect that means so is "Part 6: 5 current individual annual income" AND "Part 6: 10 current annual household income" but the checklist only recognizes 1 of those 3 incorrect numbers...I feel like I shouldn't change anything on the forms that they didn't checklist but if it doesn't match it is incorrect...OH WHAT TO DO!?!
