As many of you know my husband and I have been waiting for the NOA2 for our I130 and I-129F since june of 2006. Please help us pray so that we have good news soon and that we get approved. I feel like im sinking deeper and deeper falling into depression. I see every one with noa2 left and right and I dont understand why ours is still stuck. I have tried everything to get answers but nothing. The lawyer said they could be requesting more evidence but they should have done that buy now. I mean we are on the 7th month and we are still waiting for the approval. We believe in the power of prayer so please us be united in prayer.

you might not remeber but it took 9 months for my NOA2. and also michigan on ISL thread - took over 1 year thats because, the USICS had questions about my case an his. the USICS is proble looking deeper at your case. i would tell you this.. dont stress just wait it out and focus on something else. pick a hobbie or take some classes.

Have you contacted the congressional delegation from your state (2 senators and a congressperson)?

You're definately past the time line, and they should be able to enquire on your behalf.

7 months is a very long wait for NOA2...insh'allah you will hear good news soon. Have you tried contacting the Ombudsman for the USCIS?

The Ombudsman cannot make them approve or change an adverse decision, but they can assist when processing a case falls out of the USCIS guidelines. It is worth a try, check the links below out:
