definitely a crime of moral turpitude

Saying the word turpitude otta be a crime. We gots a black dude, who's really big and can push little puny Indian convenience store owners aside with a simple slash of his paw. He walks out on the street with his swisher sweets, feeling really sweet. Not that there's anything wrong with feeling really sweet. So, a dummass white cop spoils his deal in the middle of the street. Then, his big butt hanging out his pants gets in the way, and he actually has to pull up his pants. He swipes a paw at the white cop and ends up dead. Damned if elephantSHIT doesn't work out.

Since when is stealing a cigar a felony?

It's not. However strong arm robbery of a store clerk and assault and battery on a police office are both felonies. Serious ones at that.

That poor indian store got robbed by the kid and then mass looted again after the grand jury decision.

I think he is the biggest victim here.

Cool. I need her to leave her keys in her car tonight and PM her address to me. I'm sure she wont have a problem since I wont be taking her cash, only her car.

ASP or PR-24. That's what it's used for. One hit to the solar plexus, you're not getting back up for a while. Crack someone over the head with it, see how much fight is left in them. Go for the upper thigh. They drop like a stone. I've been trained in these things. A police officer has more training that me.

So they trained you how to handle a drunk sailor ... This is a bit different when someone is trying to kill you after they assaulted you and are going in for the second round.

Come pick me up. I'll pitch in on gas money.

I actually just landed in Charlotte. Not far from her. I bet she drives a Subaru or an Element though. No thanks.

They should call for back up. Just because you think you can't beat up a criminal doesn't give you the right just to shoot them.

Let's not forget, he didn't know he had committed a crime at the time.

According to officer Wilson's testimony he had heard the call about the stolen cigars while on another call (for a sick child) and when he saw the fist full of cigars in the man's hand he said that he suspected that this was the robbery suspect. In his testimony he stated that he did call for back up later to find that his radio was set one channel off. In your opinion when does an officer have the right to shoot a suspect?

You pursue the suspect with your weapon drawn and say freeze. You don't gun them down if the suspect is running because your life is no longer in danger.

According to witness testimony the officer did tell the suspect to freeze with his weapon drawn and the suspect continued to close the distance between them. According to the officer's testimony and some witness testimony the officer was actually quickly moving backwards to get away from the suspect when the final shot struck him in the head.

If I was a cop and getting my ####### beat, I'd pull out my PR-24 or ASP. For me to pull out a gun and take someone's life, that's a last resort. But I wasn't there, and neither was anyone else here.

I'd love to see how that works inside a vehicle.

You don't shoot people for running away. Sorry, not a qualifier.

Autopsy report does not mention any shots to the man's back. I don't understand your statement, can you explain further.

Where you headed? I'm only a couple hours away.

Are you visiting Danno? He's in Charlotte or nearby.

Actually, it was for insurgents of any kind. Even folks that were trying to kill us, hence the 9mm and shotgun qualification. I shoot sharpshooter so my aim is fair. That's what security means. No difference. If a drunk sailor tried to kill me or someone else, they'd get put down.

I don't know. Val is quite gangster. Whatever she's rolling probably has rims that keep spinning and a loud sound system. :dancing:
