I've seen the pictures. Maybe I have a different perception of getting beat up, because from what I've seen it looks like we was out in the cold rather than almost close to death.

By the way, I know what you're talking about. In most of the pictures, it looks like the officers face is mostly red cheeked - it definitely doesn't look like he was in a fight. But, I did one time see pictures that were higher quality; there was definite bruising on his face down to his chin. I assume these are the pictures the grand jury saw.

I wonder what the pictures of the PO would have looked like if he hadn't drawn his weapon. Maybe those 'red marks' would have been worse. Maybe he could have talked his way out of the situation. Maybe he should have just hit the gas and ran away and let society deal with it.

This likely happens a lot more times that anyone will or can ever know. Imagine being a policeman working in the hood where your life is in danger just driving your car, and if you actually exit the car you are met with bitter hate and an ungrateful public. A lot easier to just drive on and let them kill each other.

Hell; if it's okay for the NFL, it's okay for Congress, right?!

But, not a gol-darned word about how the American public is FED up with the narrative of how violence should be met with passivity and tolerance. It's all the cop's fault. Not the criminal.

I think we're reaching the point where some believe that a cop has to be able to physically beat up every criminal in the world. If he loses a fight and has his gun taken from him; well, that's just his fault for losing. If the cop knows he can't win the fight, then he should just leave the criminal alone and let him commit all the crime he wants.

I know that the details of this incident will only be known by those involved, that's a fact. I would like to know how the arm chair law enforcement experts would handle a man the size of Mr. Brown coming through their car window with the intention to do them harm.

They should call for back up. Just because you think you can't beat up a criminal doesn't give you the right just to shoot them.

Let's not forget, he didn't know he had committed a crime at the time.

I'm pretty sure punching a police officer in the face is a crime.

If the person who just punched the police officer in the face is running away; is the cop just supposed to sit in his car and call for back up? How will he know where the face puncher is? If he starts chasing the face puncher, and he, the face puncher, turns back around and comes at the police officer, what should he do? Should the officer turn and run away, should he just let the face puncher keep punching him? What does he do while he's waiting for backup?

Michael Brown and fellow thug were walking in the middle of the street. He failed to obey a law enforcement officer. Instead of moving his fat behind to the side of the road and getting out of the way of traffic, he and the chip on his shoulder decided to assault the officer. From start to finish the entire incident took about 90-seconds.

Forget the grand jury testimony though. Hands up, don't shoot! The prez will back you up.
