Hi friends need you thoughts on this. My k1 interview is on the 23rd. Idk if we are doing this right. My fiance has a kid from another woman and we have a kid too. In answering question #8 on form I-134 should he both write his kids and if so should he put a mark on wholly dependent or partially dependent? Also, does he need to include me on the list too? Appreciate your response. Thank you

Is he providing child support to these children? Does he list them as dependents on his federal tax return? All his children need to be listed.

Yes you need to be listed, you are what this is all about. ;)

Your fiance's income must meet the 125% poverty guidelines for the I-864P for the number of total dependents - you & his children (including himself)

Hello Hank thank you for your response. He's providing child support to these children. does that mean they are wholly dependent? Thanks in advance.

That would be my thinking. He needs to claim them on the I-134

but he doesn't list them yet on his federal tax return about to file it next year. should he still include it?

Yes...all children need to be included. You must include any children whether or not they live with you and whether or not they are claimed on taxes.

The decision is for your fiance. Myself and others already posted our thoughts.
