hi VJ friends. i have a quick question. whats the minimum amount of money is enough or safe side for joint sponsor ? (we showed 90 thousand plus,is it enough?)

i have seen people were denied due to joint sponsor . was it because lack of income? please any information given will be truly appreciated.

To qualify on assets alone, see the below equation:

current I-864P figure for applicable household size x 5 = result

The value of the assets being used must be greater than or equal to the result of the equation.

Good afternoon VJ, hope we are all well. I just got off the phone with NVC and I was advised my case has been completed, from the 19. We are now waiting for an interview date. Hope London is not fully booked for next month. My prayers are with everyone who scan date was in October, yours is on it way.

Yup! That's the one. Exactly one week after actual cc.

By the way, I wouldn't bother raising any issues with NVC at this point. Just call and ask for the interview date every now and then.

Thank you my friend, that's what I figured just go with the flow, send what they requested to my husband and leave it at that. It would just make it worse.

Send copies only and I'm so sorry but I received an e-mail saying pages were missing on my mother's AOS I-864a and it wasn't signed but it was. So I called thought I saw a mistake because it said it was a I-864 for my mother so I thought Oh ok their mistake don't need to send anything. Turns out thank God i called they told me the SOB's I have to send all three with my husband to the interview. If I hadn't called maybe they would have asked for the other tow. Such incompetence is just outrageous we pay for this service and they treat us lie a rabid dog with out a hint of courtesy or respect. I'm tired of this BS. So sorry they are doing this to you also.

yes I'm worried it will continue to be a back and forth exchange with them where I'll have to keep resubmitting documents and waiting. I just hope I am wrong. I feel weird that I feel depressed around Christmas time but I cant shake the feeling. I pray everyone has a great New Year and the pain of visa procedures passes quickly

Actually distance in our case has made us stronger and we love each other more than ever. You just have to be able to communicate how you feel and not get upset with the other person, which is the key. I agree if you can survive this you can survive anything.

Juan and I were just talking about this... We actually feel lucky to have this experience because it feels like we'll never take each other for granted. I hope so! He's coming on Monday!!!

I think your safe on the documents and I'm sure this is the end of it for you, but I completely understand how you feel. I'm thrilled to have CC but the future still puts me on edge and you know why. I hope you have a peaceful Christmas, if you can call NVC ask if your Documents have been accepted if they are your home free with nothing to worry about but the AOS. If you do this, I think you will have a good Christmas and please let us know.

OMG just spoke to my husband and he said Aramex is a very bad company and doesn't know why the Embassy is going to use the. Why do they do this I wonder, is it on purpose? One more thing to worry about.

Even though the torture of this process is beyond words it has not weakened our love but made it so much stronger so I agree with you 100%, still want this to be over hahahahaa. I just want a normal day with my husband, just normal watch TV be able to hug him when I want to.

OMG how exciting so does he have his plane ticket already or is he saying Goodbye to his family, must be so bitter sweet. Chile is not a place you want to run away from and neither is my country which makes it more difficult and shows you how much he adores you. There is so much he will miss but at least your close compared to other place. OMG wish you could come to the USA to be with him at POE. All will be well but will be praying just in case. Your welcome sweet heart, well, you and I finally are waiting for interview and NVC per the rep should start schedualing for February the first week of January but in some cases it depends on the Embassy. But think God willing a Feb interview with some luck and prayers the first week.

Can anyone really grasp the enormity of what we have all gone through! I am truly amazed and thank God he has given us all the strength to get this far!

Can someone help me with this checklist really quick?

Was I supposed to use line 22 of the 1040 for Part 6 Question 13.a1? It isn't clear in the I-864 instructions.

Also for current annual income, is this what the latest check stubs say as what you've made so far this year? Or can we project? I'm not sure how to answer this. I did a projection and added pay stubs and W-2s and tax returns.

If its a 1040 you've used then the amount in line 22 which is the total income would come in part 6, 13.a.1. I you've used a 1040ez then fill in the adjusted gross income.

Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

Hi solenta.. I got the same email today from nvc but the question is this mean that the checklist I had receive was a false one ??

If you received a checklist and CC that means the beneficiary has to take the corrected let's say AOS or lost document to the interview with them. In my case I received a Checklist and have to send my husband the supposedly corrected ones. You can copy and paste the checklist here without your personal information and we can tell you if it's false or not and you need to call NVC to confirm it. Good thing is if it is a checklist it wont delay your interview at all so no extra waiting.
