Thank you very much my friend and yes I agree with you 100% and have to be so sensitive to what the other person is going through. I for one thought I was the only one suffering but it's not true. I'm lucky my husband is very patient with me.

I'm at work and just can't seem to focus... My husband will be flying in tomorrow and that's all I can think about. To say I'm excited does not begin to explain what I feel.

I've had to have help from my senator twice during this process once at the USCIS stage and again after the visa was issued. We never received a waybill no provided any answers on where to pick up the visa for about a week and a half. It seems that this process is complicated for no reason.

I'm just thankful that we are done for 2 years and then we will begin ROC.

I'm praying for every one still waiting as that is the most difficult part. May the love continue to give us all strength as our lives would be incomplete without it.

Good afternoon VJ, hope we are all well. I just got off the phone with NVC and I was advised my case has been completed, from the 19. We are now waiting for an interview date. Hope London is not fully booked for next month. My prayers are with everyone who scan date was in October, yours is on it way.

It's issuedddddd!!!! Today at 4pm guys my status changed!! I just had a feeling it will change today. Hubby and me are v happy mashAllah. All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

By the way, I wouldn't bother raising any issues with NVC at this point. Just call and ask for the interview date every now and then.

If not mistaken and someone correct me if I'm wrong but if the Petitioner the US citizen is living with the husband/wife the Beneficiary outside the USA they need a sponsor, Petitioner needs to establish domicile, which can be living with parents or renting an apartment. Please someone that knows more than me please chime in.

Petitioner living abroad does not need a joint sponsor if one of the following is applicable:

• they are working abroad and that source of income will continue in the US
• they have sufficient assets

As for domicile, the petitioner needs to show they have maintained or are reestablishing domicile. A couple of examples on reestablishing domicile are mentioned above. Some countries may be more strict than others on the domicile issue.

Oh wow so happy for you, I was wondering last night if you had you Visa yet and I'm thrilled you do. Yes they make things unnecessarily complicated and stressful. Thank God your done with this for a while, never long enough. Your POE tomorrow wow woooooo hooooo praying you have a safe and uneventful trip home!

Guys, I'm so upset! I sent in the requested documents for my checklist on Saturday after I received the checklist email on Friday. Today, I received an additional checklist for my joint sponsor! I don't understand why they don't send it at the same time. They also asked for something I already sent (copy of birth certificate for joint sponsor to show US citizenship). I asked the guy on the phone if I needed to send an original because I already sent a photocopy, and he said, "Hmmm...just send another photocopy just to be sure. Dont send an original."

I feel so frustrated.

Can someone help me with this checklist really quick?

Was I supposed to use line 22 of the 1040 for Part 6 Question 13.a1? It isn't clear in the I-864 instructions.

Also for current annual income, is this what the latest check stubs say as what you've made so far this year? Or can we project? I'm not sure how to answer this. I did a projection and added pay stubs and W-2s and tax returns.

To qualify on assets alone, see the below equation:

current I-864P figure for applicable household size x 5 = result

The value of the assets being used must be greater than or equal to the result of the equation.

You can project, but to do so accurately, can you answer these questions:

• Are you paid by the hour or are you salaried?
• If you are salaried, how often are you paid (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)?

Send copies only and I'm so sorry but I received an e-mail saying pages were missing on my mother's AOS I-864a and it wasn't signed but it was. So I called thought I saw a mistake because it said it was a I-864 for my mother so I thought Oh ok their mistake don't need to send anything. Turns out thank God i called they told me the SOB's I have to send all three with my husband to the interview. If I hadn't called maybe they would have asked for the other tow. Such incompetence is just outrageous we pay for this service and they treat us lie a rabid dog with out a hint of courtesy or respect. I'm tired of this BS. So sorry they are doing this to you also.
