my dear take heart, we all say things in a heat of a moment which we don't mean, am sure the hole thing is stressing him also. Don't take it to heart. Try tomorrow or late night and talk to him again when he is much calmed. It will never come to that, always remember you are not alone. Am praying by the end of this month or early January all of us who doesn't have CC will get one in God's Name. And an early interview also. Please try and get busy with something else and the time will move quickly. Am busy with my 10 month old baby, trying not to stress. God is with us and he will strengthen us.

Oh my friend I'm so sorry to hear this but maybe something happened to him today that has him in a very bad mood did you ask him?

I just said a prayer and will be saying them nightly no fears.

It's issuedddddd!!!! Today at 4pm guys my status changed!! I just had a feeling it will change today. Hubby and me are v happy mashAllah. Now just waiting to collect passport )) soloenta I will keep in touch with u even if I don't log on to VJ much cuz a lot of stuff to do. But i do read the thread usually almost everyday. VJ I love u!!

We just got a case complete, e-mail on the 18th, call to NVC today confirmed it. Now just waiting on an interview date!! Anyone know how it is to travel back to US with your spouse while waiting for the interview date? I start school on the 20th of January, hoping our little family can travel back to US, and then come back for the interview.

That would be amazing haha. I dont know about you all, but i feel like 2014 was just a year of waiting for things to happen. I hope 2015 is the year of things actually happening haha. Congrats on your CC and I hope everything else goes ok for you and your husband. Distance really takes a toll on couples, but I think if people can survive that, they can survive anything. Good luck

Actually distance in our case has made us stronger and we love each other more than ever. You just have to be able to communicate how you feel and not get upset with the other person, which is the key. I agree if you can survive this you can survive anything.

Thank you sweet heart I pray this also and I hope and pray today is a better day for you and your husband. Having five children isn't easy but remember it's not easy for him either. I bet he just feels sad and left out of the loop. Men need extra care even if they look and seem very strong.

Yes soloenta. Finally it's over!!! they said that it can take upto a week but I m sure I will get in a couple days inshAllah. Christmas I don't think so but New Years inshAllah I m feeling relieved now. And I m praying u get ur interview date ASAP!!! This week maybe inshAllah!!!

Well, the important thing is your almost home the hard part is over and smooth sailing from here on. Boy wish we were at this stage, I fear it wont be maybe until the first week of Jan that they might give us a date for Feb, but I'll take it better than still waiting and not knowing what they're going to throw at you.

hi VJ friends. i have a quick question. whats the minimum amount of money is enough or safe side for joint sponsor ? (we showed 90 thousand plus,is it enough?)

i have seen people were denied due to joint sponsor . was it because lack of income? please any information given will be truly appreciated.

I think it is but, is it property, cash in a bank account, does it belong to the beneficiary or Petitioner or is it the Sponsors?

If not mistaken and someone correct me if I'm wrong but if the Petitioner the US citizen is living with the husband/wife the Beneficiary outside the USA they need a sponsor, Petitioner needs to establish domicile, which can be living with parents or renting an apartment. Please someone that knows more than me please chime in.

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

For sure, distance can make a couple stronger. You have to find more ways to stay in touch, do fun things together and comfort each other. There's a reason everything happens in life. Congrats on your CC
