It's been 175 days since my husband's CR1 interview. He is approved but put into AP...like everyone else we have no idea when it will be issued. We miss each other so much as we are basically newlyweds, even though we've been married a year & a half, we've only spent about 42 days actually together, the rest of the 2 years we've been together has been on Skype everyday. Please pray for our "Issued"update! :) Thanks! We also pray for others to be reunited...inshallah these procedures will be reformed for the better soon!

Oh I'm so very sorry, AP is what I'm most scared of and I pray you get the Visa 6 months is way to long to wait. Did they give you a reason and have you called they might have just forgotten about you sweet heart. I would have your husband or you call the Embassy and ask why it's taking so long. If your approved there is no reason for this to take so long. Please, please call I have seen this before, please update us when you find out. t5063.gif

Thanks for the welcome :) yes I've called & emailed many many times...they always give me the same "form" email. "Although we understand your frustration this case needs additional processing ....unfortunately we are unable to predict when it will be completed. We will notify the beneficiary when it is completed." I even went to the embassy last week while I was visiting my husband. They could not comment on his case. After researching AP on VJ it looks like maybe this is standard procedure...it really just sucks how they advertise that it can take up to 60 days for Additional Processing...when in reality it's like it could take...who knows how long...I think they should just be honest and give us real updates...like yeah we sent it here for a security check, or now we are inputting your info into various computer programs or now we are sending for final approval of your visa so we can print it...something like that. It's so frustrating when we just have no idea...GRRR

Your very welcome my dear. Oh my goodness this is just pure evil I don't understand why they do these things. They check with all agencies even Interpol so I don't think they need anymore checking but I guess I could be wrong. I thought they had to give you a reason for AP this is just cruel and unusual punishment as far as I'm concerned and am praying this ends with you getting your Visa very, very soon. This would be my nightmare!!!! This is just outrageous! t5063.gif

Maybe they pulled all the reps from the floor to give them a training so they alllllll give out the same correct information on the phones? Would be worth the aggravation of not getting through for an hour or so...one could only hope.

My interview was today :) it took forever or so it seemed sitting bored and nervous total time of 2 and a half hours .

The officer was a nice lady asked me simple questions like where my spouse and I met and when we got married etc. I took five minutes or less . Then she congratulated me and that's it

Regarding: IV Invoice Delay

Wow, what a difference it makes to speak to different reps. The first one I talked to today was clearly not having a good day. I just told her sorry to bother you and hung up and called again. lol

Second rep said they're still working on the system issue. They said it happened a few weeks back (5 weeks for me) that the system didn't generate the IV invoices. Now a supervisor has to review each case that submits a request and manually generate the invoice and send it. :( I hope it doesn't take long. God willing we get it soon.

Also I got a scan date but no email confirmation because of the IV hold up.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far.
