Your very welcome my dear friend, I'm just reminding you of the truth and may I say how amazing you are. The Egyptian Embassy is for me the worst Embassy in the world mean, nasty without compassion what so ever, no humanity to speak of. Is it possible to show proof of financial burden plus the medical problems? I think if you show both they will give it to you and they denied me twice the SOB's. They truly disgust me to no end, they all deserve to be fired and replaced with human beings.

Boy you need to run for the Senate or Congress we need people like you in Washington, we need people like you for sure. :) I'd vote for you in a heartbeat. :D

I love tenacity and that's the only way to get ahead in these situation, God bless you for all you do and more so for taking care of our grandfather it's not an easy job.

Ok then count down begins! WOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Thank you my dear! :) I don't know if one person can make a difference, but once I get through this process, I will try!

As for the financial burden, along with the medical, yes, I have already done that. They don't care. My packet of evidence was so large, I had to leave some of the less important documents out, but listed all by name and how many pages they were at the end of my cover letter along with a statement that due to the number of pages I left them out, but would be more than happy to provide them upon request if it would help them to make a decision. They didn't care that it costs an insane amount of money to have assistance in the home. I provided them with price sheets, medicare non-coverage statements, appeal denials, and also a letter that states I am currently on probation with my employer as a result of being promoted and I can be let go at any time if they feel my performance is not up to par, and that the current situation I am in has had an impact on my quality of work.

Either the people at the embassy never took the time to read what I provided, or they are heartless. We shall never know.

Hi! I have a question regarding aos. What if the petitioner is just a new employee and has no itr yet? Do we have any options since itr is required for aos processing?

I believe if there is no irt, the petitioner will need to provide a letter explaining why they did not file taxes, in addition to that they will need to provide a letter of employment from their current employer on company letterhead which includes the petitioners name, position, start date and current annual salary. It should then be signed by the employer and include the employers contact information.

I understand. This is the place to vent. You've definitely been here for so many of us when We got to that point. After all it is better to let it out than to keep it in.I agree Soloenta. Hey maybe the folks at NVC should be replaced by Senior VJ members. Then we would be like the Oprah of immigration and everyone would hear you get a case complete you get a case complete. Hahahaha.

next we would take over embassies and folks would hear you get a visa, you get a visa.

Hahaha! This might be the best thing I have read in the longest time! :)

What is an ITR? Are you trying to abbreviate form employment letter.

ITR = income tax return

Hahahaa your too funny hahahaaa smileys-happy-715315.gif smileys-happy-715315.gif,

I think we would be really good at it and make sure the people getting their Visa's deserved them without making them wait for almost two years and we wouldn't be rude. smileys-happy-715315.gif

Going to try to sleep a little bit, I shall be back. :D.

Hahaha! This might be the best thing I have read in the longest time! :)

I'm glad to see you all smiling. Our journey shall be over soon and we will cherish our loved ones so much more. I'm praying the rest of this process moves quickly and God will strengthen us if we have to wait just a little while longer.

Hi my friend, yes we got out CC but will have to send a new AOS to the Embassy and my husband. The problem is what if they don't accept the AOS as in something else is wrong with it. Then they put us in AP for God knows how long. The AOS was perfect signed, dated, they are saying it didn't have how many immigrants my mother was sponsoring but it's there in the hard copy I have, they also say pages are missing. Its just a pack of lies these people are capable of anything. God only in when they will decide to give us an interview I can't even hope anymore with this new #######.

So yes we have CC, but ........................ who know. t4582.gif

So sorry you're going through this, of all people, you do not deserve that whatsoever!

No question they are heartless monsters from hell. I'm sure if they say any of us laying on the ground they would just step over and go on their way.

Your case at pretty much any other Embassy would have been given an expedite, it's more than unfair it's cruel they treat prisoner better than they treat their own citizens. :( Shameful, just shameful! t5063.gif

Are u serious?????!!! Obviously they're some discriminatory practices going on here. So they're just going to find problem after problem with yours? Thats bull@#$&. I am so sorry and I couldn't have 1/4 of the patience and compassion that you have. U have congratulated and have given helpful advice to everyone. I havent been on here in awhile but I was extremely jealous of all the ppl getting case completes (I can shamefully admit that). I cant imagine what you're going thru. Im just praying that you and your husband stay strong thru all of this. This bulls$&t is hard enough without them lying and creating problems with documents. Solo....im thinking of you babe.

Marriage: 12/10/2013
Sent I-130: 1/23/14
NOA1: 1/30/14
NOA2: 6/10/14
Email that it was shipped to nvc: 6/23/14
Received by NVC: 7/1/14

Received/Submitted DS-261: 7/29/14
Paid AOS fee: 7/30/14
Sent AOS packet: 8/1/14
Aos fee showing PAID: 8/2/14
Received and paid IV Fee: 9/8/14 (fee showing paid / DS-260 available 9/9/14)
Submitted DS-260: 9/11/14
Sent IV packet: 9/24/14
NVC Received 9/26/14

Arrived in US: 3/8/14

STILL HAPPY AND NORMAL AS OF 8/4/2016!!

AOS Approved per phone: 10/22/14
*Received what I thought was a false checklist on this date as well*

*Problems: Called on 10/27/14 11/5/14 and 11/20/14 just to be proactive On all of these dates except the last, NVC kept telling me that my IV document probably hadn't been reviewed yet. On 11/20 the representative told me that the BC needed to be inextensa and the marriage license. True enough I had sent an extracto. But requested a supervisor review bc I knew the marriage lic was inextensa. 2 days later called again and got the same supervisor who told me that the marriage lic needed the proper signed legalizada (sticker on the back)

Sent necessary documents/Received: 11/20/14 and 11/26/14

Called 12/15/14: got Arthur....after he checked and verbally spanked he sent me to supervisor Silvia who said she would pull my file and try to figure it out.

Case complete: 12/19/14 Sylvia called and left a voicemail, called and confirmed later that night and status changed to N/A.

Thank you so much Sylvia. May God bless you and your family.

Appointment date and time received: 12/27/14

***FAST FORWARD***

Does anyone know why it takes 60 days to review AOS/IV papers and checklists? I thought it used to take 30. Are there just more people applying visas or is this related to the President's Executive Order from last month?

So happy to see you post, was wondering what you were up to :D

I agree they are discriminating, but they can do what they want with impunity, they are above the law. But, it could be worse we have CC and I'll have to shell out more money to get the AOS to my husband and the Embassy when ever they decide to give us an interview. I am praying that goes off without a hitch but wont hold my breath.

Thank you so much for your sweet and kind words my friend but I'm not a saint and have felt the same when people get through the whole process in just two to three months and on top of that are ungrateful and complain on how long it's taking. All I can say to those, be grateful we don't live next door or I'd be strangling you. :Dt5063.gif

Thinking of you also my dearest and please how are you doing, is all well with you? Your in my prayers always.

Used to take 2 to 3 weeks :( but I believe so they say is they are backlogged from DACA, then people complained and they started to rush people through USCIS which many of us were stuck for more than a year and is now about 5 months without taking into consideration they did nothing so NVC could handle the huge incoming files. Typical government oversight. :( It's getting a little faster but not by much.

I see you also had a Checklist and am wondering if there is a computer glitch seems a lot of AOS checklists for Middle Eastern countries or maybe not a glitch. Hummmmmmm I wonder. t5063.gif

Awww thank you my sweet friend, it felt and still feels amazing. You didn't fill out your time line so couldn't check to see your last scan date but if not mistaken you should be close. If so you or your husband should call and check with NVC. :) God willing we will get an interview for Feb and maybe you will to. :)

This process is definitely not for the "faint of heart" nor, the "weak in the knees". I will be visiting my husband in California for two weeks coming up in January - woo hoo. haven't seen one another since we got married in July  . Am taking all the forms and supporting documents with me when I go and we will finally be submitting Round 1 to USCIS, and, I too, am getting "weak in the knees", because, I too, think to myself, and, I am soooo organized..., where did I put that, where is this, did I remember to do this, did I sign in black ink. OY!!

So, I wish everyone all the best and success, and a strong and healthy heart and knees!!

Blessings to all.
