The best of luck to everyone !

Our waiver was finally approved today @ 11:30 am and we will be finished with this LONG A$$ journey very soon.

Hang in there everyone. I really thought the end would never get here and now its just around the corner. There were times I never though this would end. I don't even know where I found the strength the keep going.

Just when you think you can't go on , something good happens ! Hang in there everyone !!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE !!

And a big congratulations to you too :D wow, I'm glad I logged in today!

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered

November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

My case still says Administrative processing. I m so heartbroken. Why does all this mess has to happen with me always  I m losing all hopes. Once in a blue moon it happens that Nvc loses documents and it happened to us. I m almost crying while typing this. I don't know how to stay strong anymore

I can't believe NVC did that to you, after all the time you took to get the packet perfect and for them to review it, they just forget to send it?? Unreal! I know sometimes mistakes are made, but these are people's lives here, not some commodity we're unsatisfied with and want to return it.

VJ friends I have news as well....

I submitted expedited request on 12/11/2014 and today it was approved... YEAPEE!! :dancing:

This is what i got:

The U.S. Embassy is willing to expedite this case when we have all the fees, forms, and documents. If you have not already done so, you can pay your fees and submit Form DS-260 at ceac.state.gov. Please send everything else to this address:

What do i do next? Does NVC automatically sends my docs. Since i am already post-Checklist? How long would it take to get the appointment from the embassy??? does anyone know.??

Awww thank you sweet heart, I'm over the moon to haven't been able to talk to my husband yet but sent him a text. :Dfainting-smiley.gif t5063.gif Still think I'm going to wake up and all this is but a dream.

m

REALLY REALLY HAPPY BUT BELIEVE IT U FINALLY GOT CC!! ??

To be honest Im still in shock up to this point since the NVC Rep told me we have interview date. I was doubting myself and the next day we got the P4 Email. Im still in shock lol and my husband is on his way to Cairo right now for his medical.

Things will go by faster from here on out my friend. Best of luck to get a quick interview date!! NVC told me last week that they'd be scheduling interviews this week for mid to end of January. There's still hope! There was 3 of us waiting to get interview scheduled for Egypt and we all got one this week. I suggest u call friday and ask them. Then if u dont have interview, ask them when should u expect to hear news about interview? Try to call early morning, when they open and the reps are usually nice & give u more details. ? Best of luck and let me know if u have any questions my friend! ? luv u sister!

Congratulations to all the recent CCs!

Thank you sweet heart hehee hasn't really sunk in yet. t4582.gif

Soloenta.... So happy for you. We all deserve good news, but I don't know of anyone who deserves it more!!! I hope for a speedy interview date for you and a very short AP!!

So I have some good news as well. Our interview was Dec 1, but we weren't approved right away because my husband had some previous issues with his visitor visa that we knew could be a problem. So i didn't post anything because it all felt really scary and uncertain and I wasn't ready to share. But now....

My husband received an email today that said his VISA WAS PRINTED and HE CAN PICK IT UP FRIDAY!!!

I can hardly believe it and my husband won't believe it until the Visa is in hand (actually until he's through POE). Thanks to this entire community for their knowledge and support. We literally could not have done it without the information and support of Visa Journey. I am so glad that I learned of this site.

YOU SO, I TOLD YOU SO m0113.gif Woooooooooooo Hooooooooooooo VIVA CHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next step is............................... t5062.gif

Anyone have some words of encouragement for me today? I feel like I am at my breaking point.

Yesterday I sent my AOS and IV documents priority express next day service which had a guaranteed delivery by 12pm today, or money back. The package arrived at the Portsmouth post office by 10:43 this morning. I was thinking that it would be cutting it close on delivery by 12pm, but since the NVC is only about a 15 minute drive from the post office, I thought there would be a chance. At 11:05am I received a notice that it was delivered and signed for, however the signature was very generic, just said N Visa Center. Here's the part that is frustrating, it also says that the delivery date has been updated from today to December 18th. Typically when a package arrives at the post office, it transitions from "Arrived at post office" to "out for delivery" before being delivered. It did not this time. The fact that the delivery date changed and there was never an update stating the package ever left for delivery, it leads me to believe that someone at the post office signed off on it being delivered, just to prevent having to issue me a refund.

In calling USPS, they tell me the system shows it was delivered and there is nothing to be done. There is also no explanation as to why the delivery date was updated from today to tomorrow. I'm sure calling NVC to ask about the package is pointless at this time as even if it was delivered, I'm sure they would not have opened it yet. I am so seriously frustrated right now!

I'm totally speechless, I'm sorry. t4621.gif

I'm sorry you're passing through it. My best opinion is to not freacking out yet...wait and call on Friday evening to check if the package was scanned and ask for the date. With that you can have an estimate on when the package was actually delivered (it takes 1 to 2 days from the day it was delivered to the scan date).

Good luck and I hope you hear good news soon!

Great information, I was just clueless on what to say. t5063.gif

Remember your support thread (us!)

We are here with you and going through your emotions - I know we would all wish and pray that we could celebrate right now but I find looking at what could have happened (which is smooth instead of bumpy) doesn't change anything. Emotions will fly and that's okay - keeping everything inside really makes it worse and eventually we all are human and melt down.

Sending you lots of hugs Virtual-Hug.gifand sending tons to all of my fellow VJ'ers who are battling the checklists - I know that sinking feeling and I'm there with you to support!!

Well said my friend, well said. :)

I second the motion: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/524903-welcome-to-the-december-support-and-rant-thread-2014/page-50#entry7392750

Today is my birthday....and i was hoping to find "issued" on our case...but still in AP....I will not cry i will be optimistic....eventhough my heart breaks inside....No husband here, no daddy for our kids, no other family except Gramma, Thank God for Gramma....only birthday wishes on fb....i swear i want to delete everybody....why can't i have the only person in the world who loves me....??? Why do they make me wait....I am alone without my Love .....the embassy does not care about us....another Christmas will come and go with no one to kiss under the mistletoe...191 days in AP....seriously I'm so mad...and yes, crying....for my husband....I HATE THIS PART OF THE PROCESS!!! :ranting:

Oh Natasha&Noor, first Happy Birthday know that this will be the last one without your husband just keep saying it over and over again, I as many know exactly how you feel missing all the special day in our lives but soon that will end. Just hug Grandma cause one day :( you know so take this time to cherish her and pay a little more attention to here because next year you wont have time to. I'm praying AP ends soon, my worst nightmare, it shouldn't be allowed. t5063.gif Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you and our loved one and all my VJ family! Wooo Hooo!

I'm sorry please bare with me, but, WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOCONGRATULATIONS SO VERY HAPPY FOR YOU. What wonderful new!

A VERY BIG CONGRATULATIONS. ITS A GOOD FEELING, ISN'T IT??????????

OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS beyond words and welcome to the thread even if you don't need it anymore. :D And I'm so very happy for you, your struggle was HUGE! :)

Congrats, Soloenta! Happy birthday, Natasha! Congrats to everyone else as well and my sympathy for those of us still waiting.

I'm trying to get through right now and it just rings and rings and eventually takes me to a message saying there's no information on immigrant visas right now and to call back later, but it doesn't say when later is.

Does anyone know why?

Awww thank you sweet heart. t4582.gif

Humm sounds to me like the phones are down, I would call for an hour or two if you can, praying it will get fixed soon.

Congratsss Soloenta im so happy u finally got your case complete!!!! :goofy::goofy: :goofy:

To everyone that is waiting, for a case complete,noa2,interview Schedule, anything I will like to share this beautiful prayer!!

Dear God,

Please help me trust You and in Your timing. I tend to get impatient and I tend to take matters into my own hands. I know this is a weakness of mine. I am so sorry. Holy Spirit please transform this part of me. Help me to trust in You Lord and trust that Your timing is best. I pray for patience and I pray that I would understand that Your ways are better than my ways. I do not always know how to have patience. My flesh is weak when it comes to waiting. Please help me to be stronger in this area! I also pray that my husband would have patience and trust in Your timing. We rely on You Lord. I pray that as we wait on You, we would encourage each other to remain patient and faithful in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Thank you my angel your so kind and it still doesn't feel real but I'm happy and I'm grateful for this gift and Amen. :)

Hello everyone! My hubby's interview is tomorrow morning! Please pray for my hubby to be approved. Three years is waaaaaaaaaaaay too long to be separated! Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Just said a prayer and will say another when I go to bed then in the morning, God willing you will have your Visa and then your husband will be home :)t4582.gif

WHY IS THE CHECKLIST EMAIL SO CONFUSING!

Sweet heart copy and paste it here, remove all the information you don't want anyone to see. Someone here will be able to help you if not then on Saylin's thread. :) Just relax sweetie post it here. t4582.gif

OMG FINALLY! YEEEEESSSS!!! :D I can't wait to tell my husband you got your CC when he gets home from work. I'm actually crying I'm so happy lol xD

Oh sweet heart so happy to see you and thank you so much hahahaa I still don't believe it but I feel calmer for some reason even though I know we still have the interview to deal with and Cairo is no joke. God bless your sweet and kind heart. :)t4582.gif

Woooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooosmiley-happy093.gifsmiley-happy093.gif127fs2361263.gif OMG what a great week this is turning out to be and it's Wednesday still have time for more good news.

OMG!!! CONGRATS MY FRIEND!!! SOO SOOO HAPPY FOR U!!!! Did u get interview also? (Sorry i need to keep reading more but wanted to congratulate u first!!!

I AM SOO SOO HAPPY FOR U GUYS!! I MEAN IT !!!

Awww Maria thank you so much and I know your heart so I know you mean every word, thank you so much. t5063.gif

CASE NUMBER FINALLY WE GOT ONE OH MY GOD FINALLY WE HAVE A CASE NUMBER!

Congratulations my friend so very happy for you and I hope the rest goes smoothly. t5063.gif

OMG I can only imagine, it didn't take long did it to get your interview, when I think of how it used to be not long ago I cringe.

The Rep I talked to that said I had CC told me Egypt was no longer giving out interview and next round starts the first week of January for Feb but can't guarantee I'll get one, I'm disappointed but happy we at least have CC. :Dt4582.gif Love you to my sweet sister. :)
