Well it would have been - I got the second e-mail. I am so doubting myself - thankfully we have a duplicate copy of the AOS (sitting at my husbands work at the moment) but they are stating I didn't check the military box.

I am so sunk at the moment. Can't write more - need to sleep and need to see this paper and what it says tomorrow.

I'm so really sorry for you. Hope you wake up with a fresh mind and thinking and figure out what's going on.

Someone HELP!

We are filing on my husband (petitioners) assets alone. We received the so called 'checklist' regarding no meeting fanancial requirements here is the excerpt:

The NVC has received the information you have submitted in reference to

the Affidavit of Support. Please be advised that the Affidavit of Support

information you have provided does not appear to meet the minimum

income requirement according to the current poverty guidelines to sponsor

the intending immigrant(s) for this petition. The consular officer will make

a decision regarding this requirement at the time of your interview. In

order to avoid delays, you may wish to submit an additional Affidavit of

Support (Form I-864) for a/another Joint Sponsor to the National Visa

Center to assist in sponsoring the intending immigrants. To view the

current poverty guidelines, visit

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-864P.pdf.

If you decide to use a Joint Sponsor to assist in sponsoring the intending

immigrants, please note that you the sponsor may not use Form I-864EZ

and will also need to submit Form I-864.

I remember reading someone getting the same email regarding them only submitting assets and I think someone confirmed that it was a CC and we need to bring the documents to the embassy *BUT* I need to confirm...

I'm trying to get through the NVC right now but was hoping fellow NVC'ers could help faster than I can get a rep on the phone to calm my down my anxiety.

I've seen this before and if not mistaken it's a CC and you take the docs to the Embassy which is a good thing. If you remember correctly I asked you to call today missy and you didn't. All will be well.

It does say "The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of your interview." I'd say it's CC. I did read somewhere that everyone using assets gets this email.

You told me what, all I remember is I was telling everyone I would get my CC the beginning of this week and that I would let everyone know, Hahahahaha heheee yes you said it more than once I remember well. So smarty pants maybe we will both have our interviews close to each others.

My case still says Administrative processing. I m so heartbroken. Why does all this mess has to happen with me always I m losing all hopes. Once in a blue moon it happens that Nvc loses documents and it happened to us. I m almost crying while typing this. I don't know how to stay strong anymore

samreen, hold your head up high dear - you have fought NVC through countless battles and this is just one more test to see if you are going to stay strong and get through this. I know right now it seems hopeless but you've got strength and your marriage to pull you through this tough time. Pray and we are praying with you that you stay strong and everything quickly resolves itself...

I found out yesterday that I got a checklist - they told me that I didn't check mark a box on the military question - I confirmed with my duplicate copy that in fact I DID check mark the box and they have made an error in my case - just another struggle that NVC is putting on us to see what we will do. Well, I'm calling in the next hour and I will fight this decision until someone resolves my case. I have too much to lose not at the moment to let an error by a rep be the cause of my extended delay. I hope you will find the strength as well to fight through this.

Samreen have they received the document yet? I think you haven't sent it yet am I right? That's why it's still in AP. You have your Visa that is clear they just need that document then one to two weeks I'm sure and they will send you your visa if not in a couple of days. Please stay strong, I'm here if you need me I believe you have my e-mail so just a little longer my angel. I know well how you feel you have to be strong your at the very end you have passed through fire so now just try to take a deep breath and know that this is just a technicality. I will continue praying all will be well even if you don't need my prayers. Love you girl!

I'm praying along with you for Samreen and for you both of you will be fine because Samreen was approved for her Visa she just needs them to look at the Doc she sent.

Now for you my dear friend you need to call NVC tell them you have the hard copy of the doc you sent and that it's checked off where they say it's not then ask for a Supervisor as soon as you possibly can. They might just fix it right there and then and if not it shouldn't take as long as the regular Checklists. If you can cry girl, I've seen it fixed on the spot sometimes so you never know and it's worth a try. Please don't just wait. Love you to so get going.
