Thank yes it is and you also hahahaa wish we could do that but he works so much two jobs fixing his apartment for his mother there just isn't enough time or we would be doing the same. I keep telling him to drop the one job but he keeps saying we will need the money. When he had only one job we could do that and I would watch him cook hahahaa he only knows a couple of dishes it's so funny I taught him everything he knows. ;)

We are all very blessed for having found our spouses and so much for the fraud part. I think they exaggerate it for some reason but I don't care I know my husband very well, God willing they will see this in all our interviews.

Awwww how sweet he talks to your Grandfather I bet it does help him a lot take his mind off what's going on. God bless your husband and of course you for your love and generosity. :)Oh I know all our families think we're all crazy as loons hahahaa but that's ok hehehee :)

When it comes to NVC to be honest I've given up trying to what they do and how they do it, to me they are all over the place and you can't find rhythm or reason why they do things at any given time. t5063.gif

Unfortunately, there is a high fraud rate with marriage between Egyptians and foreigners, and it'd due to these actions of others that makes it so difficult for people like you and I. My father, an Egyptian, initially had reservations about my husband because of this. I think my husbands interview at the embassy will be a breeze compared to the interrogation my father gave him when he first approached my father about me. Lol!

I hear ya on the whole NVC thing. They have me so confused right now.

10/11/2014 – Mailed I-130 packet to the Chicago Lockbox
10/14/2014 – I-130 packet signed for
10/15/2014 – Priority date assigned
10/19/2014 – Acceptance confirmation email received
10/20/2014 – Check cashed
10/24/2014 – Received I-797C (NOA1)
10/27/2014 – Faxed the USCIS expedite packet to the Senator's office
10/29/2014 – Expedite request sent to USCIS from the Senator's office on my behalf
11/05/2014 – USCIS approved I-130 petition
11/07/2014 – USCIS sent case to the NVC for processing
11/08/2014 – Received I-797, Approval!!! (NOA2)

11/12/2014 - Expedite request sent to NVC from the Senator's office on my behalf

Unfortunately, there is a high fraud rate with marriage between Egyptians and foreigners, and it'd due to these actions of others that makes it so difficult for people like you and I. My father, an Egyptian, initially had reservations about my husband because of this. I think my husbands interview at the embassy will be a breeze compared to the interrogation my father gave him when he first approached my father about me. Lol!

Nvc tortured u the most! But u r out if it. I m second on those torture list cux they lost my documents lol. But sooooo happy for u!! Made my day :dance: :dance:

Hahahaaa your so adorable thank you so much, they told me as of today Egypt has ended giving out interview dates that they can't promise me anything but they will start scheduling for Feb the first week of Jan. So I missed it but am just grateful for CC at this point. t5063.gif

Thank you my angel your so sweet, we are the walking wounded in this process that is for sure. We will heal when we are with our loved ones.
