Aww how sweet he puts on the video call. I must admit after being married for 6 years I don't think we even did that once!! - Super cute!!

Let's see what we can scrounge up - we will literally need everything from the house to the beds, couches, everything when we get to the US - however I hate buying new and my husband hates buying used so thankfully he will be so focused on work that I'll be able to get my flea market deals in while he's out making the money

Sigh - as far as the checklists go I am quite worried because we DID NOT fill out the I864-A form, however we confirmed repeatedly because we aren't using his income nor any other member of the household (or co-sponsors) and ONLY assets of the petitioner (my husband) that we DID NOT need to fill out one. It's kinda strange because it clearly says on the form that we should not fill it out and to only fill it out if we are using the income of the petitioner or members of the household. Could be me just over thinking it but that is the only thing I can think of and the rep at NVC today said on the phone, "we will send an e-mail out to you..." I can't remember how he phrased it but now I'm wondering if he phrased it in a way to pull towards a checklist...gaaaah my overthinking brain...can't take these last moments!!

Oh ok it's called video call, logical hahahaaa, oh yes it's cute and I get to hear his voice and he's so serious hahaha makes me laugh cause when he talks to me his voice changes completely not even the same person :Dt4582.gif He also walks home instead of taking a taxi because the reception in his apartment is horrific, poor guy is tired and he walks home.

Ummm Ok you know I love you but I'm on your husbands side on this one. I prefer to have very little but new. I'm actually making our coffee table out of a Cherimoya tree I cut down hahahahaa If I ever get it finished I'll put it up here if I get more than 3.73KB of file space. How do I get more or do I have to clear something up I wonder? I'm baffled on this one. kurby2.gif

Did you ask Saylin about this? Holy cow the women know everything about this stuff while I on the other hand am clueless. I would ask her personally and I'll be praying you don't get a checklist. t0803.gif

Smart move to start getting rid of things you can't take now instead of the last minute, not an easy thing to do. I hope you sell everything you can so you can have as much as you can when you get here. I'm going to try to sell some things so we will have extra for what ever we might need, you just never know.

Oh yes you are lucky, I leave things to do tomorrow because I keep checking the computer for news and my husband because we can only talk when he isn't working. Sometimes he puts his iPhone on video so I can see him at work hahahaa it's so cute makes my day. Wish bandwidth was free darn it!

I read that if your going to get a checklist they come early on they don't wait for the 60 days supposedly. Anyone know this for sure? Lurkers welcome. :Dt4582.gif

Hahahaa God I hope so and no one will throw you out of here you do what you want as much as you want, just go to town girl! Heheheeee God have mercy on us all and walk with us through this torture called Immigration. Praying we all get our CC's NOW hehehe please! t5063.gif

Adorable! My husband and I do video calls all the time as well. I swear we live in front of the phone and computer. He'll sometimes video chat with me from his work, but I'm usually asleep or just getting ready for work when he's working. Some days he can't wait for me to get off work so he'll call on a video call and watch me work for a little while. We Skype doing everything together. He even insists on me taking the laptop in the kitchen so he can watch and talk to me while I cook. It helps him to feel like he's with me in everything I do. When we are physically together, he's always in the kitchen helping me prepare food. He likes to help cut up veggies, although he always has to cut twice as much because half of everything he cuts ended up in his mouth. Lol! He is also obsessed with cookies. He had me teach him how to make chocolate chip cookies before I came back to the states. Not that he has attempted to make them once since I left. Hahah! He also likes to Skype with my grandfather and I while I change bandages, he feels talking to him while I clean things up helps distract my grandfather from any pain or discomfort he may feel. He's such a gem. We even do video calls when grocery shopping and driving around. He likes to see the road when I drive. Sometimes I think my friends and family think my husband and I are crazy because of this. Lol!

On a different note. If it is taking NVC up to 60 day to review documents, then one would think it could potentially take 60 days before sending a checklist, as they can't send a checklist without having reviewed the documents. I could be wrong though...

Thank yes it is and you also hahahaa wish we could do that but he works so much two jobs fixing his apartment for his mother there just isn't enough time or we would be doing the same. I keep telling him to drop the one job but he keeps saying we will need the money. When he had only one job we could do that and I would watch him cook hahahaa he only knows a couple of dishes it's so funny I taught him everything he knows. ;)

We are all very blessed for having found our spouses and so much for the fraud part. I think they exaggerate it for some reason but I don't care I know my husband very well, God willing they will see this in all our interviews.

Awwww how sweet he talks to your Grandfather I bet it does help him a lot take his mind off what's going on. God bless your husband and of course you for your love and generosity. :)Oh I know all our families think we're all crazy as loons hahahaa but that's ok hehehee :)

When it comes to NVC to be honest I've given up trying to what they do and how they do it, to me they are all over the place and you can't find rhythm or reason why they do things at any given time. t5063.gif

Thought I would chime in...we received our checklist on day 62 Nov 3rd 2014 for I-864 and since packages were sent separately at the time it was day 41 for IV package. Both packages were reviewed at the same time (F)

arg. Still nothing on CEAC. I need to stop refreshing!

And I think perhaps that is also when they were super backed up - it looks like after 2 months they have finally got the time frame between 55-60 days. JC got hers on day 55 so I'm assuming that mine is indeed either today or tomorrow. (crossing fingers!)

Oh ok thank you for the information it seems to me it's haphazard at best, they are just all over the place.

Haha - I don't think I'll push my luck today. I figure I'll keep watching the CEAC webpage every now and again and then call tomorrow if I still see nothing. I'll take my chances with 1 phone call a day - if I can call in the am. I am certainly not calling now where it takes 40mins to get someone and they are already cranky and ready to bite someones head off!

Have you called? You need to call again right now. :D

Hi dear. Nothing here and haven't seen S&A running around as of yet. I called today and the guy said today or tomorrow so here's hoping he's right!

You'll see that magical N/A when you least expect it! When I logged in I was so used to seeing "PAID" that i almost missed it saying N/A

I really hope it's today for you, Soloenta and S&A (I think she was very busy with work). I'll be lurking around waiting to hear from you ladies :)
