I am just really happy to part of VJ.

My last scan date is 10/10/2014. Just few days away from what i hope is CC and not the dreaded checklist.

CR1 Visa process
12/26/2013 NOA1 date
07/07/2014 NOA2 date (7 loooong months).
07/10/2014 left USCIS
07/22 arrived at NVC
07/31 Case# assigned
08/01 AOS Bill invoiced and DS 261
08/02 AOS bill paid and DS 261 completed
08/05 AOS bill shows PAID in the ceac website
08/13 AOS package sent
08/18 AOS package delivered (USPS website track number)
09/11 IV Bill invoiced
09/12 IV bill shows PAID
09/12 DS 260 completed
09/12 IV package sent
09/18 IV package received (rep. told this date but the 60 days waiting letter says 09/16).
10/17 - AOS checklist. Tax transcripst 2013 missing (husband thought W2s were enough)
10/21 - Checklist scanned
12/12 - Case Complete!!!!!!!!!!! thank God!
01/06/2015 - Medicals
01/12/2015 - Interview date ((It was Feb 27th but due to a cancellation they rescheduled to Jan 21!!!!!) - VISA APPROVED!!! Interview review on my timeline. :)

Well . . . I'm just waiting on the NVC. I paid my NVC fee, but can proceed to pay the IV fee. This is all so annoying. We have so much technology, yet this process seems oh so antiquated. It really annoys me when politicians equate immigrations issue to sealing the border! The issue is more complex than that. They jump the border because they're freaking tired of waiting in line! Rant over.

Hope I hear something soon.

Hello everyone at VJ and December thread,

I want to say "Thank-you" to everyone in this thread that have been providing so much useful information. I have been suffering in silent throughout this process, until i found this thread. I haven been a silent reader until today. i am currently waiting for CC, in day 54. I also pray for all the members who are apart from their loved ones and just hope NVC give all of us the goods news and the hope that soon we will be reunited again. Good luck to the members who already have been CCed and who have interviews scheduled already. Blessing for everyone.

But great you're here. I've been a silent reader during USCIS a stage but then I decided to share my experience.

It's great to see we're not alone..here it's like the Xavier Institute but instead of mutants there are us, people fighting to be next to their loved ones! Haha

1/3/14---I-130 transferred to Nebraska Service Center (called USCIS @ 1:34 P.M. to receive update)

1/6/14---Received hardcopy of I-130 transfer notice

3/10/14--Received NOA2 via text message and email @ 2:30 P.M.

3/13/14--Case left USCIS via text message and email @ 8:15 A.M.

3/14/14--Received hardcopy of NOA2

NVC:

3/25/14--Case received by NVC

4/25/14--Case number assigned by NVC

4/30/14--DS-261 submitted to NVC
