Hi,

This is my take on current annual income. If you have filed 2013 taxes and earns at least 150% of poverty line for your household (125% needed for US Visa) then just list 2013 total tax income for current annual income. For the interview just update I-864 with 2014 tax income as current income. I did this for half a dozen people already and no checklist from NVC..

My income was more than adequate for meeting the poverty guidline before the promotion, however, I had to submitted a copy of the letter along with my expedite request because it was/is relevant to the situation. Because of this, if I use just the income from my tax transcripts, I am worried they will question why I am not claiming the income shown in the letter on my I-864 as it is almost $10,000 more than my income from last year.

10/14/2014 – I-130 packet signed for
10/15/2014 – Priority date assigned
10/19/2014 – Acceptance confirmation email received
10/20/2014 – Check cashed

If you already send the job offer letter then put that income for current. I thought you just starting the I-864. Thanks for you assistance. The letter was sent with my expedite request, not the I-864. I have yet to submit the I-864. I am in the process of putting together all of the documents to submit the I-864, and noticed they want the employment letter to be dated within 3 months. My letter is dated almost 4 months ago.

So ideally, I could forgo the employment letter all together and just use the pay stubs on their own, even though only about 4 months of the 6 months of pay stubs will reflect the new income?

WOW long time no see, happy to see you but sorry its under these circumstances. I agree the best thing to do is physically go to the couriers office and ask them face to face and take the e-mail if they e-mailed you that the Visa had been sent to them. That way they can't say its not true. If you can't get anything done by them I suggest you/husband make an appointment with the Embassy and go in and talk to them face to face and take any evidence if any that the couier is saying they have no information on the Visa. Nothing better than doing things face to face. I'll be praying this all works out quickly and please let us know what happens. Take a deep breath this will be fixed my dear friend. t5063.gif

Thank you so much to all who sent good energy and prayers. My husband got a notification this morning from the courier that the visa had arrived... even though no one knew anything about it yesterday. I talked to him on the phone and he had already picked up the package. What a relief... today is my birthday, this is an excellent present, and I am very grateful. Now we can finally buy tickets!

Best of luck to those who are waiting anxiously... it looks like nvc is if anything dragging more than when my case was there. You have my full sympathy and moral support.

Same here, my worst nightmare is another Checklist and I can't get it out of my head. :( t5063.gif

Anyone knows how long it usually takes between CC email and interview date confirmation??

That depends on how busy the embassy is. I believe NVC will start scheduling a second round of interviews next week for january (i read another user said this) but how fast you get a date and how far out all depends on the embassy/consulate you are set to interview at.

my finger was on "refresh" all day yesterday on the CEAC website lol . . . Yes, i already checked it twice today LOL :rofl: . . . I don't know if i want to call. I'm at work today and their hold time is sometimes ridiculous. *Sigh* I just want the PAID to turn to N/A so i can be happy :) Only problem is that that is not always reliable.

You know, i used to think that they reviewed cases by their scan date regardless of whether it was a checklist or new package but i've noticed that most CCs have been for checklists (which makes sense). I hope they start working on new packages shortly though so we can move onto the third stage of our process :yes:
