Yeah, about the medical, I also got vaccinations ahead of time - make sure to check which ones are actually necessary so you don't spend any more money than you need to (many depend on age/risk factors/etc so the actual list is shorter).

I did the medical ahead of time because I had time off while my wife visited (don't want to give up my job until I have to!)... it took almost 8 hours! But they gave me the results at the end of the day. The only thing was you needed to get an appointment at least a week ahead of time (I guess they have exceptions for emergencies though).

Great to know thank you for the information, the vaccinations in Egypt are very expensive if you go to the Dr's the Embassy sends you to. Ty. :)

Soloenta How are you and everyone today, thanks a lot for the kid worlds. i call them today, still no good news. have to wait 60 days. my 60 days will be next. hopefully it will not go pass the 60 days and we will all get out of the dark tunnel and go into the light by his grace.

Not well, I don't feel so great and our water heater broke down had to buy a new one is going to cost about $800 but I guess it's better than an explosion. :D

Well, keep checking the site, you might see an extra N/A tonight you never know and I'll be praying you get your CC soon. I hope we get lot's of CC's.

This made me laugh so hard! I grew up in Minnesota and have lived here most of my life, I still feel like I will die from hypothermia every time winter comes. My husband is sooooooooo excited to live in Minnesota, he can't wait to play with snow and have, "cooler" weather to run in. Hahahahaha! I almost died of laughter, because we argued for two days over whether or not he will be able to run outside during the winter months. I finally gave up and told him Insha'Allah, quietly followed by, you won't break your a** falling on the ice. Hahaha! I guess he'll just have to find out for himself.

Hehehee it was hell to me, what horrible temps and there wasn't even snow on the ground hahahahaa  I know I'm a wuss but I had regular clothes on and no coat.

Boy I used to laugh telling my husband you have three seasons, summer, three days of winter and two days of spring. OMG how horrible it was during summer I was pretty much never comfortable and we lived on the Red Sea so it wasn't as hot as the rest of Egypt. It was windy, but my husband did say it was cold in winter in his city. I wonder what he considers cold!

Me thinks your husband is going to see the snow run out then run right back inside! smileys-happy-715315.gif

Hi everyone...NVC gave a case complete to a Oct 15 checklist scan date to someone in the other thread.

Ours is coming soon!!!

Peace to all of you! ;*

Your such a sweet heart thank you so much for the great news, praying everyone had a lot of great news this week. t5063.gif

You dodged the AP bullet and that alone is worth celebrating. Just make sure hubby sends you a scan of the new AOS so you could verify accuracy and completeness before he sends in the original.

Always with great advice, MoBar your a true treasure! t5063.gif

I have way too much free time on my hands, someone please make it stop

Hahahaha NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it's too much fun to make you stop I wont do it I tell ya! :P

Someone in the interview thread posted that the rep told them there will be a second round of interviews past mid-December. I hope this is true for all embassies. By the way, the comment was in regards to Egypt. Seems Egypt has not started scheduling yet.

OMG, I can't believe it I pray this is a break in a very long line of bad luck. God please have mercy! Thank you JZ your so very kind, see stalking is a good thing hahahaaa

This is amazing news for Soloenta!!! I'm super glad. Hopefully it's the case for all embassies! I guess I have no idea when BA normally schedules anyway...

God willing my friend God willing praying hard it's for everyone but really happy finally Egypt is doing better. :D

Someone on the other thread received a CC on 12/08 with checklist scan date of 10/24 for an EB3 visa (not IR1/CR1 like us). So i guess NVC is all over the place. I don't think this is indicative that they are working on the third week yet but hopefully it all comes by end of week! :)
