I keep getting two dates from them also. Oct 17 and Oct 20. Praying for cc and no chk list like everyone else. This process is so stressful. You and I have been so close with our dates. Hope we both get Cc this week! Hey a girl can dream right?!!

Same here. :) There are verrrrrry few people from Argentina on VJ so I don't have a lot of data to go off of (no one in the interview thread, from what I've seen) but I also think I've missed the window to get a January interview. I did, however, meet a very nice nice man at the hospital the day I did my medical... he'd gotten a CC in early November and had his interview scheduled for like Dec 1 or Dec 2. I hope everything went well for him, and I hope I (we!) can be that lucky too. :) It's super silly and we're not huge on Valentine's day or anything but it would be a nice touch to be able to spend it with my wife. I won't be too sad if that doesn't happen, but I desperately want to be with her for our first anniversary on Feb 28. I suppose this won't leave me a lot of time to catch a plane after I get my visa (...not that I would have been able to wait anyway ) so I should really start figuring out what the hell to do with my things and everything, haha.

Today seems very slow but I hope, as you say, that they're hard at work with those CCs and we're just not seeing them. ;) As a side note - I called for the first time in like a month the other day, to make sure everything was still in order after that one false checklist and everything... and the date they gave me was 10/23 (like the email says). Go figure. I guess everyone will give you a different answer, so I'll stick with 10/24.

Thanks, thankfully my husband and I are not apart from each other yet. We are together in Australia. I am however away from all of my family. I am missing out on Christmas, birthdays, nieces and nephews being born. I just want to be home with them, and with my husband by my side.

I can't imagine how terrible this would be with hubby separated from me :(

Well I can tell you it is pretty difficult. My husband has been gone for 16 months while I stayed here with our two children, ages 14 and 15. Thankfully for us it is over. We fly to the Us on 18th Dec and will all be back together. I hope your journey ends soon.

I bet it is hard. Bad enough being away from family, but being away from my hubby would be awful!

So glad you will be together for Christmas!!! I remember you wanted that very much.

Hopefully we will be done by February. That's not too unrealistic I think :)

Samreen congrats on your visa. Yes it sucks that you have to wait for up to 2 weeks, but at least they are issuing a visa. I dont mean to be preachy, but I know There are many people in AP and still stuck at NVC who would love to be in your position. I have to remind myself often to be grateful and thank God for his many blessings no matter what the circumstances may be.. Besides look how long we have waited thus far. I remember us being on the June 2013 USCIS forum together. 2 weeks is nothing you got this. Once again congratsss. I'm happy for you. Merry Christmaschristmas-gift.gifchristmas-tree-gifts.gif

Yes tag team. I m thankful to Allah because it could have been much much worse. I think it's kind of a blessing even cuz when I asked her to triple check my documents in that hassle she didn't ask me a single question. And very politely said all is good and we just an AOS from u. So I guess we should always we thankful and trust God that what he does is the best. I know so many ppl going thru AP like EOC and it breaks my eart cuz it's a long dark tunnel. But I will pray for them as well and everybody to get out of this ridiculous process ASAP. InshAllah.

I made a mistake actually Oct 23 was the scan date and they don't care if it's a checklist or not you need to call as soon as you can. :D Now how sweet would it be if your CC is waiting for you! I called and there was nothing for me but doesn't mean yours isn't ready to go. :D

You need to come in Ca it's toooooooooooooooo cold in Chicago! :Dt5063.gif

Hahahaa yeah right it was you hahahaa you nut head!!!!! Need more have you seen the Jimmy Kimmel show when the celebs read the nasty tweets they get? OMG it's really funny so here you go just give you a taste of it. :D

That was mean but it was so hilarious especially Lil' Wayne "I don't know what a crab apple is".....Priceless.....hahahahah. P.S. I saw your post teaching me how to multiquote, I just find features like that more helpful on a laptop or deskstop rather than a tablet.

I am so happy to know your interview was not stressful Samreen. It makes me feel good to know that, because I know how hard things have been for you. Let us stay in prayer for one another and continue to pray for strength. You're prayers are appreciated. I hope you have a smooth POE :star::dance::star: Looking forward to the update.

Good Morning fellow scan date'ers! ;)

So there is only me on this thread with Switzerland being the country - so hopefully they will get me in to the interview as quickly as possible!! I think the reviewer is probably looking at my papers going, "what the heck?? Switzerland" - Perhaps ol' Uncle Sam will get greedy and want to steal as much money from Switzerland as possible (after that whole problem with US wanting to know what US citizens have in Swiss bank accounts uproar)...We had to sign so many papers that stated when I left here I would have to close down everything connected to Swiss accounts and bring it with me (since US wants to tax foreign bank accounts)...little do they know I haven't much in there to tax anyways!! :jest:

I'm really tempted to call...even though I know they are only on the 14th of October. If I would have seen closer scan dates (original scan dates, not checklists) then I would be more keen on calling. I think at the current moment only chance I have at getting a good answer is getting that lovely lady I used to talk to every morning trying to figure out all the questions I needed to complete my paperwork - She always was so kind and I completely forgot her name!!

Anyways, I have a feeling they take the first few days of the week to review the paperwork and then start giving out CC's at the end of the week - I have seen this pattern go on for a couple of weeks now - it takes until around Wed or Thursday at the earliest to start hearing a wave of info from people that have had their papers scanned.

P.S. I'm on this thread, the other thread, FB, and I've been looking at a few outside sources as well to figure out where they are at the current moment...but not the Interview thread!! JC looks like you won the award!!

Someone on the interview thread received CC with IV packet scan date of 10/14. Yes, I have gone off the deep end and am now stalking the interview thread as well LOL.....not to mention, checking the CEAC site a few times per day. Oh Lord!

Morning! :)

Hahaha, I'm hoping the same for Argentina... even though I know there are probably a lot of people that just aren't on VJ, haha. I thought it would be just me when I went to do the medical, but to my surprise there were like 15 other people there that day! (It's only done once a week, though. Also I think most of them were for other visa categories... we met the sweetest old lady there, she waited almost 15 years for a visa from her sibling!)

That's crazy about the bank accounts. It's a pretty hot topic in Argentina as well, with the investigations and everything. Don't be modest now mofatsd, we all know everyone in Switzerland has MILLIONS in the bank!

At this point I believe you'll only get the 60 day script if you call (unless you see that magical N/A), but hey, nothing to lose. Do report back if you call! I also have that feeling that Thursday/Friday definitely come with more CCs. It was the same way for the NOA2.

I also started "stalking" the members on the October list for updates/last log in date. Oct-15 member just had a CC!!! (Checklist review, but still.) Oh dear I hope this is over soon. Good luck today to all of us!

I just saw this soloenta. And i m so touched! Love u really!! (L)

Love you and I mean that also! :Dt5063.gif

InshAllah.

Insha'Allah t4582.gif

That was mean but it was so hilarious especially Lil' Wayne "I don't know what a crab apple is".....Priceless.....hahahahah. P.S. I saw your post teaching me how to multiquote, I just find features like that more helpful on a laptop or deskstop rather than a tablet.

Hahaa yes they are very mean but their reactions are mostly so funny specially the men, they know how to take it well hahaaa. Love when they say F you. smileys-happy-715315.gif

Oh ok I have never used a tablet and I have a laptop but I hate it love my regular table top PC with my huge screen :D graphics-christmas-lines-330081.gif

Amen! t0803.gif

Good luck today!!

Geez how rude to make you sign papers and have you close down your accounts, how very intrusive of them no matter how much money you may or may not have. Very disappointing how they act toward others and let's face it even their own citizens.

Why would it make any difference if it's a checklist or not? They are both on the 60 day rule I just don't understand. I would call, I did yesterday, I must admit it brought all the horrible feelings back but in the end it was worth it. At least I knew I will most likely have to wait the full 60 days if not more. I have 13 days left to reach the 60 day penalty for not being psychic :D.

Good luck to you and everyone may God will this to be a week of wonderful new for many and that EOC get her Visa this week so we can all do the Happy Dance.:D

Morning!

Stalking huh hahahaaaa I for one appreciate it! smileys-happy-715315.gif Seems crime does pay after all. ;) smileys-happy-715315.gif

Haha sadly I have two children that take up most of my cash that's in the bank - living here ain't no joke - it's waaaay over priced and to do any 'extra-curricular' activities with the kids...well...needless to say there goes any money for mommy to go on her wild shopping sprees (and unfortunately most of my shopping sprees include new vaccum heads, more flour to bake the cookies to send to school, ect...)

I know I'd probably get an interview quick after the approval - I saw on here that it takes up to one month but I talked to a consulate official and he said that as soon as the approval from NVC comes then we should be able to get an interview scheduled pretty quick. I'm hoping no too too quick as we are going to do the medical with the vaccinations together as it will be double the amount to get vaccinations done separately (see we are cheap and living here!!)

Hahaa yes they are very mean but their reactions are mostly so funny specially the men, they know how to take it well hahaaa. Love when they say F you. smileys-happy-715315.gif

Well my dear Solenta, there are many unfortunate 'really really REALLY' rich folks in the US that are trying to stash their money here because of the laws that prohibit the US from knowing how much US money is in the accounts. Apparently if you make a certain amount and are not living in Switzerland you can get full amnesty for just throwing your money here...and trust me, there are a lot of 'personal' banks that are here where money is still being siphoned away. You know US, gotta make that money before another economic slump hits (i.e. when Obama gets shoo'ed outta office).

I'm glad you called for all of us. I just didn't want to seem eager and as it's only my 46th day. I think at 50 I'll give up the act and just call and then tell myself I told you so when they tell me to wait. I'd love to see how they would react if the reps were told that they have to wait 60 minutes when they really had to pee. Some would in fact pee themselves and then we could sit back and tell them "well that's kinda how we feel!" lol.
