Not me sorry I don't have FB don't remember who goes there to be honest. Austin used to but he no longer comes to VJ I'm sure.

I'm not on FB either. It's crazy how these last two weeks are driving me crazy already LOL....I told my husband today "I need to know now" and of course his cool & collected response was "Don't stress over it, whatever happens...happens. it'll come just don't stress" and of course I looked at him like :hehe::mellow: hahaha.....I wish I was as calm and collected as he is. He's in the middle of final exams so that's all that's on his mind. However, i am in the middle of finals too AND this is all that's on my mind LOL....i better study and pass my class seriously!

I just got off the phone with the NVC after I spoke to what was probably the worst rep working there. I explained our case was put in supervisor review last week and we're waiting for the IV fee. She told me there was no reason for our case to be in review, and basically, "you'll just have to wait". When I asked how long I was going to have to wait for the DS-261 to be reviewed, she flat out said "I don't know" and then quickly asked if there was anything else I needed help with. So it's gone from "we'll get a supervisor to look into it" to "you're getting no assistance from us" in the space of a week.

I understand that they're overloaded, but not even taking the time out to be cordial is completely disgusting. I just can't wait for all this bureaucratic nonsense to be over.

Now chronicling my experience in handy blog format at

Someone said that there are no updates on FB (on the other thread). Just fyi....there aren't many users on VJ with dates in the second week of October so it might continue slow on here. Doesn't mean NVC is not working :) . . . I saw that they have started to schedule for Mexico now so I believe I won't make the cut-off for January interviews but as long as I can get a February interview for my husband, I will be super happy! God knows best and if He thinks February is my month then so be it :) he knows everything that is going on in my life right now so His will shall be done :)

Haha sorry...I've been busy doing marketing stuff for my organization (fun, fun, fun) which means all I get to do is refresh the VJ website and look for responses. I haven't had the time to respond to both but I knew you were looking Jc (yes I'm shorting your screen name!) so I wanted to reply. Unfortunately nothing on FB as of yet. I'll keep trolling around but you guys will be up much longer than I will.

P.S. I think I'm going to take the chance and call tomorrow when they open. Cross fingers I get a nice rep that would prefer a chatty Kathy and give me some details about the case. Cross fingers I can work my charming magic

Still there are more people in this situation than are on FB or VJ so we are looking at a tiny speck. But who knows and may God's will be done. Honestly at this point as long as we get the Visa and no AP I'm fine with, just wish I knew there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thank so much for the information :)smileys-confused-917847.gif

Same here. :) There are verrrrrry few people from Argentina on VJ so I don't have a lot of data to go off of (no one in the interview thread, from what I've seen) but I also think I've missed the window to get a January interview. I did, however, meet a very nice nice man at the hospital the day I did my medical... he'd gotten a CC in early November and had his interview scheduled for like Dec 1 or Dec 2. I hope everything went well for him, and I hope I (we!) can be that lucky too. :) It's super silly and we're not huge on Valentine's day or anything but it would be a nice touch to be able to spend it with my wife. I won't be too sad if that doesn't happen, but I desperately want to be with her for our first anniversary on Feb 28. I suppose this won't leave me a lot of time to catch a plane after I get my visa (...not that I would have been able to wait anyway ) so I should really start figuring out what the hell to do with my things and everything, haha.

Today seems very slow but I hope, as you say, that they're hard at work with those CCs and we're just not seeing them. ;) As a side note - I called for the first time in like a month the other day, to make sure everything was still in order after that one false checklist and everything... and the date they gave me was 10/23 (like the email says). Go figure. I guess everyone will give you a different answer, so I'll stick with 10/24.

I've only seen two checklists so far which suck b/c no one wants to get that. I hope we are all cleared and no checklists! I'm currently on day 46 or 48 (10/21 or 10/23 scan date). It's coming soon!!

Soloenta,

I am strong believer that everything happens for a reason (God has a purpose for everything, even if we don't understand it), and the reason you have not gotten your CC is becauce everyone in VJ needs your moral support. I am praying you get CC soon. You have a golden heart and inspire me to be trong, patient and "make lemonade" from all this tortureing process.

I hope for everyone VJ to get good news from NVC. !!!!

Thank you my dear friend and I agree God has his reasons but I would be here for you guys no matter what. Look how much moral support you give and many others on this thread. I am only one of many because we all make up this place not just me. But I thank you for your sweet and kind words.
