Thanks, thankfully my husband and I are not apart from each other yet. We are together in Australia. I am however away from all of my family. I am missing out on Christmas, birthdays, nieces and nephews being born. I just want to be home with them, and with my husband by my side.

I can't imagine how terrible this would be with hubby separated from me

Soloenta, how are you, plz try and call them also, because am in the same position, my sister told me call also. i call them every Monday and hubby calls every Wednesday. i hope that will help take thing forward. still waiting. bless

Hello sweet heart so happy to see you post again and I took so long to get back to you because I called. Waiting I had to fight back tears, I have to say I'm way to traumatized by all this I have never felt this way in my life. I spoke to Waldo (poor guy his parents should be shot) very nice guy said there is nothing new and it should take two weeks to have my case reviewed. So here I sit crying like a blethering idiot for nothing at all. But at least he Rep was nice so I guess I should be happy about that. I'll call next Monday or Tuesday but I really don't want to. Did you call?

Well then, God bless you I was in your boat so happy to be with my husband but missing my family then I had to come back home to take care of my parents who are both not well. So I know how you feel in every way. All will be well soon, be thankful everyone is healthy (God willing) and your missing them but that will end soon.

Ok last CC is with scan date of Oct 23 ed I'm Oct 22 and the frustration continues. No mistake I'm happy for everyone getting CC's etc just don't understand how they can be so cruel and unfair in how they do their work. But happy for those they haven't hurt and are on their way home.

I am so sorry you are still caught in this mess and I know how hard it is to see others like me skip past you. Just remember God never gives you more than you can bare. This is why you have been here so long and despite your situation you are still here cheering everyone else on. I was at an extreme low last week and then I got the good news of my CC. All this means is that you are stronger than I am. It seems so unfair from the outside, but to our simple minds Gods plan never makes sense. I believe there are SERIOUS blessings coming your way. Sometimes you have to go through the storms to enjoy and appreciate the sunshine.

Thank you my dear friend and I hope you realize I'm very happy for you make no mistake about that. My problem is with NVC but your right God knows best and I'm happy right now I think because of your CC and I'm at peace. I will consider all this worth it if we can get the visa and no AP.

To be honest I'm not strong at all, most nights I sit here and cry alone in my room after all is done and my parents are asleep. But what can I do but carry on there is no turning back, nor would I if it was possible. My heart is taken and that is the path I have to take. God bless you and your family and please know I'm more than happy for you and your husband I'm thrilled and encouraged.

My sweet friend it's so good and comforting to see you post and so amazing that after all the tears you are reunited with your sweet mother. God wiling this will never happen again. Please give her a huge hug and kiss in my name and let her know how happy I am she is home with her loving little girl . I sit her with tears in my eyes but happy ones so amazed things do actually turn out well! Love you girl! Doing the happy dance!

Awwww your very sweet thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. Yes Oct 22 is our last scan date for the stupid checklist of lies hahaha. Will be praying the rest of your journey will be a smooth one.

Haha those are the people that are normally at my home town Wal-mart. I come from a very small town in WV where there is basically one Wal-mart and everyone flocks to it.

Pajama's are definitely an OK attire around my hometown!!

...P.S. the minute I see a 20th Oct scan date of no checklists coming through I may feel the itch to start calling...eek soooo close!

...P.S. the minute I see a 20th Oct scan date of no checklists coming through I may feel the itch to start calling...eek soooo close!

Yes he told me all this hahahahahaa nice guy was very sweet. Have seen a few women way to fat to be wearing Daisy dukes but that's only in the summer thank God and oh yes only one person with PJ's on that was really weird to me. But you know most of these people must have mental problems they can't be normal hahahaaa.

I had my interview today. They lost our joint sponsor's documents. I m soooo pissed off I can't explain it. They kept my passport and said we will issue u the visa in a week or two max after we get the AOS form and transcript from the sponsor. Nvc lost it and we have to pay the price. It's just ridiculous really. They hardly asked me anything at the interview though. Just two qs that was it arranged marriage or love. And have u traveled outside Pakistan before. The lady was v polite though. So I don't have anything bad to say about Islamabad embassy. But Nvc sucks big time!

Samreen congrats on your visa. Yes it sucks that you have to wait for up to 2 weeks, but at least they are issuing a visa. I dont mean to be preachy, but I know There are many people in AP and still stuck at NVC who would love to be in your position. I have to remind myself often to be grateful and thank God for his many blessings no matter what the circumstances may be.. Besides look how long we have waited thus far. I remember us being on the June 2013 USCIS forum together. 2 weeks is nothing you got this. Once again congratsss. I'm happy for you. Merry Christmas

Haha...thankfully we won't be living there - Close to Chicago is where we will plant our feet. I don't think I could head out in my Pj's anymore - but my friends around my hometown still do!!

WHAAAAT?! No I didn't see the scan date of 21st - is that a checklist?? I've seen a couple that have had checklists but I think they are getting through checklists first and then going through the other submissions (because lets face it...we haven't waited as long as you guys have )

I will call tomorrow - today is a bit too late for me and phone lines will be super busy - I like to get them when they first start their day, the coffee has set in and they are a little bit forgiving with folks calling just for updates
