I have a feeling that next week MIGHT be our week  I really hope so!!! TheBigO predicted that I would have CC between 12/03 and 12/15 and who knows, maybe next week we'll have the best news! I really hope so....I am trying so hard to not get ancy but it's exciting, terrifying, and everything in between! I really hope none of us get a checklist! I wonder . . . if we get CC by 12/15, would we be part of the January or February interviews? S&A must be so excited too and let's not forget Soloenta! :)

Oh I did call as soon as i saw other ppl with later scan date got their case completed....but the scan date they gave me over the phone and on the letter their sent me was 5 days apart lol

Yup they are idiots, just count your blessings it's only a few days!  hummm don't think I've seen you before so,graphics-welcome-010883.gif to the thread :Dt5063.gif

I just wanted to send out some hugs your way - The problem with NVC is that they have such a huge amount of paperwork that they seriously DO NOT have a reliable system set in place. The one hand has no clue what the other hand is doing and after reading so many different ways that this could turn out for each case, I have found myself feeling like this is more of a Russian Roulette sort of gamble - either you catch a lucky break and you get your case complete without any hiccups or your the mass of the other - which is irritable errors, lengthy delays (caused by who knows what) and constant call backs to the supervisors.

You really hope that you aren't part of the other group, but there is no way to stop it - I know that in the next week or so I will soon find out if I'm part of the 1st group or the second. I've learned through the short amount of time that I've been here is to cheer on the ones that have made it to the first group (because we are all a big group of the same boat people - trying to reunite with our loved ones in one location) or be a support thread for either yourself or the others who have unfortunately made it the second group.

I pray that you guys get out fast...On the bright side of things newbie87, I have tracked a couple of weeks of how things progress and it seems like there is a hand full of CC's for a certain week and then another hand full gets their CC's over the weekend because of the delay with the system. I really hope you are apart of the hand full over the weekend.

Beautifully said my friend, haven't seen anyone but it the way you have and I'll be praying your in the first group! t5063.gif

Hey guys, Hey dear Soloenta,

I finally have a chance to drop by and catch up a little with the tread. We are enjoying our second day post POE. Life is good and I have nothing to rant about but be happy for few CC for dear virtual friends on VJ and especially for Soloenta.

My dear Mom is finally home. I went with my husband and baby to Bulgaria few weeks ago, so I can be with her at the medical and the interview. The embassy guard did not allow me in and assured me that my presence is not needed. He was right. The interview was nothing special. The CO asked mom few questions related to why she stayed more than 12 months outside the US- some of you may remember, we are going for an IR-5 visa for a second time. She had to take few more photos and was able to do that through a photo boot inside the Embassy. She was then told DHL will deliver her passport at our home. DHL delivered a day sooner than what their estimated time said, but we had to pay the fee for the packet delivery. Few days later, my family all flew together to DFW through Frankfurt. POE in Dallas was anticlimactic, uneventful, boring, quick. I was allowed to stay with mom in the immigration room in Dallas. By the time I had a chance to park the stroller and say: Thats it?! her passport was handed back to her with the stamp we waited a year and a half for. Very uneventful. I pray for all of you reading this post to have interviews and POEs that are as smooth as ours. We are August 2013 filers and struggled so much through paperwork, checklist, backlogs etc., etc., that a relief was much needed.

Thank you VJ friends for being there for me and listening to my rants and understanding what I was going through. The best thing of this journey was seeing my moms smile when she exited the embassy and saw me waiting for her across the street

Best of luck to you all!

My sweet friend it's so good and comforting to see you post and so amazing that after all the tears you are reunited with your sweet mother. God wiling this will never happen again. Please give her a huge hug and kiss in my name and let her know how happy I am she is home with her loving little girl ;) . I sit her with tears in my eyes but happy ones so amazed things do actually turn out well! Love you girl! t5063.gif Doing the happy dance! 127fs2361263.gif

Thanks Soloenta, I am silent reading but I like your post, they are so cute and fun, I wish next is your turn, I knew you have a checklist something in October so December is your day CC, good luck to you :goofy::goofy::goofy:

Awwww your very sweet thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. Yes Oct 22 is our last scan date for the stupid checklist of lies ;) hahaha. Will be praying the rest of your journey will be a smooth one. :)t5063.gif

Ow sweetie, YOU are the precious one here, who put all of us together in this big family this thread became!! Love love love is what we all have towards your!

Amen. May God bless us all. Thanks for the beautiful prayer!

Sorryyyyy!! Lol

I really hope ALL of us hear good news soon!!! :)

Blushing, then my sweet friend I am truly blessed! t5063.gif Love you and all our VJ family! t4582.gif

I'll be praying non of us get a checklist and can move on to the next step. The interview all depends on the Embassy and how busy they are so I'm not sure. I think Saylin has a link that shows how is where so you can see how long it takes for interview. Awww thank you :Dt5063.gif

Yes, TheBigO is a VJ member that created a math calculation to determine when you would get a CC. It has worked for several members on the other thread and even gives you a percentage of accuracy. Insane how you can use math for that. He even predicted his own CC! I am really hoping we get it by next week. If it's based off of embassy schedule, then mine will likely be in February since i have observed that Mexico tends to schedule 40-50 days from CC date. Pretty busy embassy so it makes sense. As long as it's in February, I am totally ok with that!

I must admit - I have been nauseous all week thinking about these last days coming closer - I have even caught myself checking CEAC thinking by some great miracle they had really sped up (okay well I wasn't that hopeful that it would happen). I would ideally hope to get mine scheduled in January thanks to most people here giving up their citizenship and I'm trying to get one!! Buuuut only time will tell :clock: and at least we have each other to keep the posts running and keep our minds sane!

Let's see how the weekend plays out for the folks that are ahead of us eh? :dancing:

I have not been checking CEAC often but once a week just in case lol . . . BUT i am on this thing all day trying to see where NVC is at lol . . . talk about obsessive. My husband is so calm about it all. He tells me to just take everything as it comes and I'm like "Are you crazy?" We have to be on top of everything, we have to call, check the site, etc. etc......he definitely keeps me sane :)

Haha, same with me!! I keep refreshing hoping to see something change, a new person getting a CC or figuring out where the heck NVC is at, what is their logic (which I still have no clue)...

However my husband just watches his shows and chills...has no clue how much I'm sweating on other side of this computer!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

That's crazy that they have not started scheduling yet! If I get a CC by 12/15, who knows, I may get in to the January interviews! :o

Thanks for the prayers.....there is great power in prayer! I am really hoping that they start on the third week next week so i can get into the January round of interviews, I'm so nervous! haha :)

Sounds like your plans are similar to mine regarding Disneyland, we want to go too! haha

Thought so hahaaa, wonderful he does this for people praying he's right.

Yes the Mexican Embassy is very busy, I can just imagine praying your interview for January. ;)t5063.gif

Haha the magic 8 ball never lies  I will wait for when this page will blown up with congrats and cheers...the days are close!! (F) I pray that we all make it through and then one day when we are all settled in the US we'll meet up and have a party!!

127fs2361263.gifWoooooooooo Hooooooooooo hehehe sounds good to me! The thought of this nightmare being over seems unattainable right now. :Dt5063.gif

Omg my husband is the same! Is it a California thing?! He gets anxious some times, but I'm the one on top of everything and I explain to him the details...lol

Tonight we'll have our anniversary dinner and then a movie (all of it possible because of facetime!) hahaha

I'm pretty excited :)

OMG MINE TO! What is up with these men hahaaaa wish I was as calm as my husband he just says " It's Gods will" Yes but I'm going to help God get us there! :D And nooooooooooooo it's not a California thing my guy is Egyptian     t5063.gif happy-anniversary-smiley-emoticon.gif

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I can't wait for next week. I know it will more likely be the week after but :help:

God willing! t5063.gif

Ahahaha my wife is the same way and she's also not from California (or a man...). I'm the crazy one. My theory is that one of the two people in the relationship must remain sane and calm throughout this process or it'd be hell, can you imagine?:rofl:

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CONGRATULATIONS SO VERY HAPPY FOR YOU. I was wondering what had happened with you my friend.

Not sure if you know but they gave me a checklist they asked for my parents marriage certificate (copy) because they are joint sponsors, I as a few others had no idea we needed to sent that. They lied about other things on the AOS but I just sent a new one so God willing they wont give me another checklist. :( I have another 20 days to wait for the 60 day penalty to be over.

m0113.gift9304.gifegyptian.gifegyptian.gifh0403.gifegyptian.gifegyptian.gift9304.gifm0113.gif

oh Soloenta, yes i remember they asked for your parents' marriage certificate. It seems like a loooong time back, so I thought you must be done by now. hopefully, they won't take the full 60 days.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
