Make sure you have strong documentation showing your ties to Spain - letter from your employer stating the date you'll return, bank accounts, rent, etc. Don't bring too much stuff with you when you go that could make you look like you're planning on moving. There's a POE in Ireland (Dublin, I think?), I suggest transferring there. At least that way, if you have a problem with a border patrol officer and can't get into the country you have to fly back to Spain from Ireland... not the USA.

Ive been in US lots os times and never had a probelm about entering bcos of my citizenship.. Tha only thing is.. because we have our papers in process I dont know if theres any problem about enetering US for visit right now. If my papers will affect or something??'

You *could* have a problem (with papers in progress or not) if the CO at the point of entry is concerned that you have immigrant intent. Therefore, follow the advice provided and bring as much information as you can to prove that you will return to your country after your visit. Answer only the question they ask and do not volunteer the information that you have an I-129F in process if they do not ask you.

There is no-one to call on the phone to get a straight answer on this - don't waste your time.

Evrytime i entered in the US they just asked for my passport and thats it.. Stamp and get in!..

so theres noone tried to get in the US while they are processing their papers? OMG PLS HELP ME :crying:

You need to calm down. Freaking out is not going to help you or your fiance. Your fiance needs you to be strong and calm for him.

Yes, people here HAVE visited to the US while a K1 is processing... that's how we know what to advise you to do so you can get in, too. Bring proof of strong ties to your country (rent/mortgage, employer letter, etc.) and you have a good chance of getting in. However, there's a chance that you could be denied entry too - there's no way for you to know until you try. That's why I'm suggesting that you have your flight connect in Ireland. There's a US Point of Entry in Ireland. You could find out there whether or not you can get into the country, BEFORE you do the long haul over the Atlantic. So you could spend the last 7 or so hours of your flight with peace of mind knowing you're already admitted into the country.

I'm sure his mom needs your support and strength right now, too, she must be worried sick for him. Be strong for them both, ok? :) My fiance was just in the hospital this week so I know how tough it is. (F)

Edit: Oh, airline, I'm not sure. Can someone just confirm where the US POE in Ireland is, is it Dublin? I don't remember for sure.

That's why we're advising you to bring proof of ties to your country. Having a fiance in the US gives them reason to be suspicious that you could be planning on moving here illegaly rather than visiting, so you have to be prepared to show proof that you DO have reasons to return to Spain. ;) And like I said, transfer in Ireland so you feel better, knowing that you'll have your answer as to whether or not you're allowed into the country before you cross the Atlantic. :) Can someone confirm my memory on that, is it Dublin that's the US POE in Ireland?

DONT KNOW WHY HE IS IN THE HOSPITAL BUT IF HE WILL NOT BE STAYING LONG I WOULDNT RISK VOIDING THE PETITION THAT YOU HAVE IN FORCE. YOU HAVE TO WEIGH THE VALUE TO YOUR FIANCE OF YOU BEING THERE AT THIS TIME OR LOOSING THE TIME YOU HAVE INVESTED IN THE VISA PROCESS. ITS DIFFICULT I KNOW BEING APART ESPECIALLY AT THIS TIME. IF YOU CAN GET DEFINITIVE INFORMATION FROM OFFICIAL SOURCES IT WOULD BE GREAT BUT ITS HARD TO COME BY........BEST OF LUCK AND KEEP US POSTED WHAT YOU DECIDE TO DO. YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL LIKELY HELP SOMEONE ELSE WITH SIMILAR ISSUE. PATRICK

A denial at the border wouldn't void the petition, no worries about that. :) And local sources wouldn't be able to help her... the individual border patrol officer at the point of entry is the one who will make the decision. So, unfortunately, there's no way for her to board a plane with a 100% guarantee that she won't be denied entry. All she can do is bring a load of proof that she has ties to her country to prove she has reasons to return, not volunteer any info she isn't asked for, and hope for the best. Coming from Spain she should be ok, that's not a high fraud country, but you never know. :(

Girl, just gather proof of your ties to Spain and get yourself a flight to be with your baby. ;)

LAst question spls.. since we are waiting until the NVC send our applications to the consule here in MAdrid and for example the Embassy will send the packet 3, is there any timelimit to do all the papers works and send them? I am planning to stay there for at least 20 days..Dont know when the NVC will do that or the CIS to NVC.. ( No decision yet..waiting until tomorrow depends on what my supervisor will tell me if i can go or not) I know 1st thing is my love then job but still i want everything to be under control (will try to)

Firstly, I am sorry to hear about your fiance, I hope he is okay.

Secondly, you aren't likely to get Packet 3 within the next 20 days (based on your timeline info), so I don't think you need to worry. Just remain calm, because freaking out is not going to get you anywhere.

Do what the people here suggested if you really want to go see him in the hospital.

Good luck.
