Police clearance Questions

I would love if someone can please tell me when is the best time to do your police clerance? Thank you in advance for any suggestions:-)

Though it varies by countries just a little, usually it is expected to be not more than 6 months old. So it would be best if you can make a recent one available to serve the purpose. During your jntervoew wth the embassy, If they find it more than 6 months, they may ask you to get a recent one.

Yes usually 6 months a year it expires and they will require a new one

Thank you guys for your responses :-) So would you say after paying the fees, and completing the ds 260 it is the best time to get the police clearance done to send in with the documents to nvc ,or try to get it done before?

Yes, if you are confident that you can obtain the Police Clearance in a short period of time.

Theoretically; whatever stage clearance is required if you can obtain it around that time, great!!! However the processing from their can easily go beyond 6 months and the candidate may get asked to produce PC again. But this is not a big deal. If the application, interview process is not delayed, you will be all good. For my wife the complete NVC and visa interview took 2.5 months and she was approved the same day. We got her PC around the same time wr submitted her papers to the embassy.
