Shortest wait so far for me, had someone within 15 minutes!

PS. Just wanted you to know I did my best to update my timeline but couldn't you say not to add information already there but it is forcing me to do so and will do it as soon as I can. Have a great one sista!

Thanks! I'm at work today, but thankfully I wasn't scheduled to work tomorrow. Although, guess it wouldn't have been too bad as I'll just be lounging around watching movies or something tomorrow. And thankfully, not cold (yet) in Fargo! It's been in the 20-30s like all week. And we only have sprinkling of snow on the ground! :D

And I'll get to your PM soon, if my help is still needed. It typically takes me a few days to get to PMs.

Just want to double check. As a MTL beneficiary, is there anything extra I have to do to opt-in to Electronic Processing or do I just send the emails off? I've read the wikis and one EP wiki says you have to opt-in--but the pages on NVC's site with more info don't exist anymore. The Saylin MTL wiki doesn't mention anything about opt-in, but I just want to be absolutely sure.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

Be careful with the other EP wiki that Darnell wrote. It's designed more for China EP applicants, and is outdated. My wiki is up to date ;) They removed the requirement to opt-in a few months ago, I believe it was. So, yes, you just send the emails to the EP email address and that's essentially you opting in, haha. Removes an unnecessary step

I thought this would be the case when I checked, but I wanted to be sure, as I remembered reading when we were reading up on the process in the first place that I would indeed have to opt-in. I am hoping for no delays, no checklists and working so hard to make sure this happens. Thank you so much for your wonderful wiki and all your help.

Well, I work at a customs broker, we're open 24/7, 365 days a year. We're never closed  So, I'm working today and on Friday.

And haha, yes, don't remind me how warm it is there! But trust me, it's usually much, much colder at this time of the year here. Usually it's below 0. So, I'm grateful I just have to wear my winter coat this week and not 1-2 sweaters underneath. At least this will be my last cold winter. I'm planning on moving to Florida next year where it's nice and warm, all year round :D
