Thanks Saylin for answering my question. Its very helpful!

For the I-864 and I-864EZ, only the most recent tax year is required, the other two years are optional. Despite this, you still need to fill in the information for those two years on the question asking about previous years' amounts.

We got a checklist pdf in the email last week, it says after the submission it could take up to 60 BUSINESS DAYS. Is that true? Is everyone seeing the same verbiage on their checklist letters?

Congrats to all who got CC's, so nice to see November submissions are being reviewed in this slow week.

Thanks for all the help!!

Called for an update today and we have a CC (from Dec. 19)!!! I'm not really sure what my last scan date was, though, because according to an email NVC sent me, they received my Checklist response Oct. 30, but the woman told me today it was Nov. 3. Doesn't matter now though!

BTW I spoke with Laura and she was super nice, if a little disorganized. She started off with the whole 60 day speech and told me to call back, but then suddenly said ¨Wait! Wait! Your case actually was closed on Dec. 19!¨

She made our Christmas! Hope all of you with late Oct./early Nov. scan dates feel encouraged!

Anyone called NVC tonight? Can't get through, not even a busy signal.

I had issues getting through, too, and even got a message that appeared to be spam at some point. I think they may be having issues with their line. But I eventually got through... keep trying!
