Hello everyone,

I sent my AOS and IV together to NVC last week, when I filled out I-864EZ form (I am eligible) I noticed that sending last three years of tax transcripts is optional, so I just sent last years tax transcripts. I am not sure they if do check list for not sending additional 2 years tax transcripts? Should I just send all three years again? thanks for your advice.

For the I-864 and I-864EZ, only the most recent tax year is required, the other two years are optional. Despite this, you still need to fill in the information for those two years on the question asking about previous years' amounts.

As the question states, it's for CURRENT income, as in how much you're making RIGHT NOW, as of the filing of the form. So, unless you're self-employed, that amount shouldn't be from a previous year. I'd review the rest of the form very carefully if your lawyer is that careless.

I just got off the phone with them. Nothing out of the normal. Tried calling maybe 10 times or so and then was on hold about 30 minutes.

On another note, just out of curiousity, does anyone know if they document how often you call? Do they get annoyed if you call everyday? Or do they have no idea?

Yes, they have a call log and know the details of each call (when, what time, what the call was about, etc). If you call once a day, that's fine, but if you start calling multiple times a day, then an operator may mention it, depending on who you get and what the calls have been about.

why would someone call everyday?

just wondering since it seems like they have a time period for everything.. so 42 days for case number or 60 days for them to check your case . what would be the point in calling everyday? just wondering that's all

To be as up to date as possible. Things can happen much quicker than the average time frames.

But the frequency of calling is up to each person. Some people like calling daily (that was me), others prefer calling once a week or less, and some don't call at all. It's up to each person and how they want to handle their case ;)
