When do we send in our AOS package and IV package together? Do we have to wait certain days after paying both AOS and IV fees ? Or can we send both packages as soon as we paid our AOS fees ?

According to the new process (which you can find information on in the first post), you send both packages together after both fees have been paid and the DS-260 has been submitted. You can view my flowchart to see a visual of the NVC process.

Of course, there's always people who send the package in sooner, like right after the AOS fee is paid, so the answer depends on who you ask.

I don't know if it is something new that the NVC is doing, but I was advised by 4 different NVC reps that once the AOS fee shows as paid, it is okay to send the AOS and IV packages. I believe this is due to some issues they are having with the IV invoice being issued and the IV application being unlocked.

I know this might sound dumb but I just don't want to get a check list for something really stupid ... on part 4 letter F on the I864EZ for household size it says add the numbers together and it has 2 boxes ... should I just put 2 in the first box which I did and left the second blank... or put 0 in first box and 2 and the second?

if this is stupid its ok don't answer hahahah,

Hey guys!!!!! I called monday to speak to a supervisor abt the mistake that NVC operators made by not giving me accurate info as to what was wrong (checklist). Spoke to supervisor Silvia on monday who reminds me of myself but doing whatever she can to help and extremely professional.....said she would call me back......just got the message that we're approved/case complete thank God. Cant wait to see my baby

one of my Friend just got a CC. His Scan date was 10/31.. Looks like NVC is Moving .. I am still waiting after getting a check list because of stupid mistake 13.a.1 on AOS. (Scan date is 11/21) .

im only sponsoring my husband and I make way over the 125% so I decided to do the I864EZ , seems much easier.. now with putting NA where it does not apply should I put NA on part 7 where it says person filling out this form other then sponsor in the print name section?

No...you don't have to...u can leave it blank

I just got my case # from NVC yesterday. When I try to login to website using case # & IIN today, i get following message on the website. Should I be worried ?

I recommend to put "02" (0 in left box, 2 in right box) because if you notice, the boxes line up right below the other boxes. That's what i did (I filled out I-864EZ) and got CC with no checklists

This is really up to you. I put N/A in that section as well and where it wouldn't let me do it with the computer, i wrote it in LOL

By the way here is my BIG tip: This form (at least for me) printed differently than what i had checked off. So my advice is this: after you are done filling it out, print it and review it again to make sure that all boxes are checked and all amounts appear.

When I filled it out it was perfect, but when I printed it the military question and citizenship question were not marked and the total income for the past 3 years were not there. Had i sent it in just like that, i would have received many checklists! So triple check your work AFTER you print it, not just before.

yea i realized when i printed out my first rough copy the citizenship was not checked! thanks ! yea ill put N/A there just to be safe!!

Just a quick and dumb question. In form I-864, when entering current income and last year's tax return income for Part 6, should I enter income with decimal digits and commas ? For e.g: which way is correct? "50000" or "50000.00" or "50,000.00". My income doesn't have any decimal digits in my tax transcripts.
