I know! I promise to take copious notes and make sure that I pass on any pertinent info.

Hey

So I called and got i think one of the nicest CSRs they have their (nicole). She actually listened to me vent and got me to a supervisor. I told him everything that has happened, the wrong information that was given. About how I was told i need passport photos but i really need to send passport biogprahic data page (which i already sent). Supervisor Liam said he will review my file.

Good news? Well I think i read the checklsit wrong? They both confirmed that they need my wifes proof of employment and not my joint sponsor (so that is a positive i suppose)

Lets see what the supervisor does

Thanks for the support all! This is way too stressful.

USCIS

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

Hi,

It's the beneficiary here. We just got another checklist email so we were wondering if somebody could help us here.

When we sent the AOS package the first time we used my parents-in-law as co-sponsors and they didn't fill the I-864 and I-864A forms properly. I don't blame them since they are just trying to help us. They made some mistakes like filling and signing both forms by the same person and we got an AOS checklist on October 17th.

After that we decided to use just my father-in-law as unique co-sponsor since he makes enough money for it so we call the NVC and got a representative to confirm that we could do that and to include a letter stating so when submitting the new AOS package and so we did. We sent the checklist back with JUST the I-864 form filled by my father-in-law, the cover sheet and this letter stating that we are using just him for the AOS.

Last Saturday we got our case complete and today we got another checklist asking us to bring the corrected AOS to the interview. Now here's the kicker: The new checklist is basically pretty much the same as the previous one, like if we submitted again both forms filled just by my mother-in-law (which we didn't do - we sen't just the I-864 filled by my father-in-law and a letter stating why).

Here's the damn checklist we got today:

We are planning on bringing to the interview what we sent on the last AOS package. That's the I-864 form filled by my father-in-law and his letter stating why we are just using him as co-sponsor. We think we should be OK with that but we are still worried about it. Does anyone have any suggestion about what we should do? Thank you so much!

Petitioner/wife here now...anyone? Please? Any insight?

As you all know this is literally the worst experience known to mankind....totally ridiculous and no one has any idea of what's going on....any thoughts or ideas will help!! We're running out of options AND resources...

When do we send in our AOS package and IV package together? Do we have to wait certain days after paying both AOS and IV fees ? Or can we send both packages as soon as we paid our AOS fees ?
