Our attorney is international so I traveled saw my husband and picked up our aos documents from attorney. Got back and overnight it then realize she had another mistake. So again overnight corrected aos. Thank God I added a letter to pls remove attorney. Thats why it took me longer. Checklist email was received 19 days later.

Did you try contacting your congressman? You shouldnt have to wait longer when they lost your documents. Yes. I think attorney dont put in the time to verify b4 send it to NVC.

I doubt they are on OCT 31st. I am OCT28 and I didn't hear anything. I think Saylin was right. Every officer gets a pile and someone works fast, someone works slow. But I hope they work my case soonnnnn.

I totally agree with you and Saylin. I totally did NOT expect a change in my case status. I merely logged in bookmark the site on my MacBook. The person whose pile I am in must be working quickly. I am in the loop with NVC as we speak. My heart will stay in my chest until they tell me case complete.. :)

Oh bless you! You SHOULD be happy and excited don't worry, I just know that when I first started posting on here I noticed that a lot of people were frustrated and seemed to be kind of resentful of others getting CC, and now I get it that's all! I wouldn't say I feel resentful as such, more like SUPER jealous! We felt like we were so so careful with our paperwork and to have checklists is so hard :(

And the closer we get to the end of this journey, the harder it is...I totally have been feeling it. In your case, with that ridiculously long wait on a checklist...my heart goes out to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Glad to hear they are on oct 31, i am waiting for a checklist i got 10/12/14, i have nov 19 scan date...

Dualie, is this for a checklist or no checklist ???

I received no formal checklist. I did receive an email around 10 days after sending my docs (Electronic Processing) saying that the Tax Transcripts I sent were password protected by the IRS. I had to re-download them, print them out and scan them as a new PDF, and resend them to NVC. They received them within a day and sent me an email on Nov 7th telling me that they received them on Oct 31.

My husband just checked the CEAC site and our AOS fee status has changed from Paid to NA.

We had a checklist. We resubmitted docs on October 31 which were acknowledged as received on November 3.

It seems that NVC has picked up the pace somewhat. Praying for all of you here, that you have some good news soon. I know how frustrating this process is. I have been one of the "lucky" ones who hasn't run into any bumps in the road. My heart goes out to all who end up bogged down in the process due to tiny mistakes and "lost" paperwork. It is so unfair.

I am on hold now with NVC. I remain skeptical until I hear them confirm that my case is complete. Will update as soon as they talk to me :)

This is the site. Good luck :)

Just got off the phone with verbal confirmation of a case complete on December 17 (scan date Oct 31 - no checklists). Got the nicest rep, named Ivy. She even wished me a belated happy birthday. She said that I will be contacted when an interview appointment is made.

Looks like they are stepping up this week. Good luck everyone!

Just got off the phone with NVC and we have a checklist. :(

For the famous 13a 1 on part 6.

So ticked off right now since our lawyer sent it off without us getting a look. This is what I was afraid of but just going to have to suck it up and start over hopefully they will have sped up over at NVC by the time they review our checklist. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Scan date October 23. Operator says they reviewed it today.

So sorry to read this. That is exactly what happen to us. Our attorney send it without us confirming and got hit with same error. When you do the correct aos check, check and double check cause then I found 2 more errors. I read the I-864 instructions (form that applies to you) more then 10 times and just today I read it again. Send asap. And we are praying we with checklist dont continue to be push to back of line with 60 days more. Stay positive we will get through.
