Unfortunately NVC isn't on October 24th - there are still some of us lingering out there that are 23rd and below. The checklists that were scanned in on the 20th Oct are being reviewed but slowly they are getting to the cases that have just filed in that week (non-checklists). They only approved an Oct. 21st scan that wasn't a checklist and that is the first one I've seen them approve that wasn't a checklist.

I just feel beyond depressed these past two days. My husband is depressed too. He has started drinking more often, went out to a night club, partying, like a single guy....we've been fighting....this distance is destroying everything....... we've been separated for 14 months I don't know how we do it.... :(

That's a really long time! Most only tell you to wait 40 some days (usually they say 43 days) and if it's not open before then you should call..

I'd be calling - 3 months is way too long and I know there were a few talking about an error with the payment portal that was causing some applications to not go through automatically and they would have to manually be pushed through.

Hope you get an answer!

Anybody waiting for IV Fee to be paid? It has been 3 months since approval and IV Fee portal is still not active.

Driving me crazy :crying::clock::clock:

Yea, there is error in payment portal. Do you have any idea how to manually push through the applications?

So reps do have the ability to open up the IV payment section by confirming that all the information in the DS260 (or is it DS261?) anyways it's the choosing of the contact (you, your spouse or a third party like a lawyer). If you have already submitted that information and can confirm that it is correct then the rep can open it for you manually -

However, the trick is getting a rep that knows what he/she is doing and is willing to do it for you. Be super nice and let the rep know that you are ready with all your paperwork and financials, you just need this portal open. And remember to begin and end with wishing them happy holidays or something of the sort...puts them in a better mood :content:

Hello all. Long time lurker. NVC received my civil documents on October 20 and AOS docs on October 23. Called this morning and still no news. Asked if anything had been reviewed and they told me no nothing has been looked at yet. Guess they are going by my last scan date which is the 23. Good luck to us all. Praying for a case complete before Xmas.

That is my scan date for aos checklist on part 6 line 13.a.1. I send in another aos cuz I realize attorney didnt add dependent. New scan date should be Dec 16 instead of Dec 11.
