There is a way to request " expedite " the case via submitting via email but if I remember baby is due in Feb. And he process will take longer. I m on crutches due to hip related injury, and per medical advice , temporarily total disable. At one point I thought to apply for "expidite " the case, I prepared all the paper work but when I saw what is happening to others I refrained myself because the process is like that:

Apply on line with all necessary favorable and relevant documents.

The case will be forwarded to the related embassy/ consulate( for us Islamabad )

They will review the case..... When ???? Only they know.

They(Islamabad ) will communicate to NVC

NVC will then (WHEN ???) inform you.

Usually they will sent/ return you to present these packages ( AOS and Civil documents) to Interviewing officer.

hmm yeah and thats why i didnt expedite the case...after seeing ur cc, i have hope too now...they are already in oct 20's so lets see..i have hope...atleast interview till feb would be great too. but thanks and goodluck for the interview. im sure u must be soo relived! its like a big headace.

At this site fellows had difficult and prolonged time frame for approval up to interview.

If they do not approve, that time will be waisted. then (Restart) NVC will schedule the interview for you after the refusal of the expedite case by The Islamabad . Remember the moment we request for expidite the case NVC will stop reviewing your case as they will send all the paper work to u for The Islamabad/ con.

LOTS OF TIME IS INVOLVED

THOUGH THEY SAY THAT THE CASE CAN BE ANSWERED IN 10 DAYS ( O yah !!!!! )

IDID NOT DO IT. WE GOT INTERVIEW DATE WITHIN 25 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF (NA)CASE COMPLETE.

Got CC today but no interview date... Does anyone know if the NVC will continue scheduling January interviews on Monday? My consulate is not very busy as far as I know (Amman).

I will be sure to post with updates on my case from now on. The most difficult to do is that first post i think ?. I am also given different scan dates when i call,10/24 and 10/27. I'm sticking to the first one cos it sounds better lol. Anyways, i'm glad i decided to start posting. Something a little therapeutic about doing so... cheers!

I GOT MY CC ON DECEMBER 10TH WITH A CHECKLIST SCAN DATE OF OCT 20TH AND I WANTED TO TELL U THAT NVC/CONSULATES ARE STILL SCHEDULING JANUARY INTERVIEWS. I WAS TOLD SO OVER THE PHONE. I DO HOPE I GET MINE IN JANUARY AS WELL.

Gosh I am certainly in the wrong time zone because when everyone is up and awake and getting great news - I'm stuck in bed sleeeeeping away. So I guess I have to dance alone congratulating all the CC's and know that the ones that are still here it's getting close and our time is coming!! SOOOO happy for you guys and I'll call next week (perhaps i'll wait till Tuesday...no wait...Monday...lol) to check and see. Let's pray for the best and those that have waited and got your CC - Congrats once again guys and gals!!!

Hey now, I'm a lady but ahahahaha that is very very accurate. I'll report back. 23 minutes and counting... I didn't believe in this second round of interviews but with these CCs+interview dates today... I know Canada tends to schedule late from what I read, but still!

i asked this question last month already but i still have no answer, maybe someone can help me out here?!

we had/have 2 cases at uscis, for me and my daughter, my case was approved and send to nvcin october, 2 days ago i got my case/ invoice numbers and the welcome letter. my daughter however is still at uscis. on november, 6 i put in a service request and the reply was-

Your petition is still pending consideration. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your petition.

now it wont let me to make a new request anymore

what do i do? proceed my case at nvc and try to expedite her once she gets there? wait for my daughter?

It just changed! We got N/A under "Affidavit of Support Fee"! Yesterday I called 3 times and they all said that it wasn't reviewed yet and today I checked it several times and no update either... until now! Hope you guys get it reviewed soon as well!
