We sent IV and AoS packages together and received email from NVC dated 12/12/14 (today) that they have received our package on 12/11/14, Which date considered to be our "scan date"?

That's a big mystery. None of us knows really. The first few times we called we all got told the later scan date, now they mostly say the one in the email when you call. I have Oct 23 and 24, other members had Oct 17 and 20, 21 and 23, etc. I THINK it's the one on the email, but it's mostly up to you. :)

Hello Everyone!

I've had a most happy and incredibly stressful morning. So it's been creeping up to the 60 day limit (and no N/A on ceac) from my last scan date and I decided I would call NVC to see the status of our case and guess what?! CASE COMPLETE TODAY!!! AND interview scheduled!

But talk about giving absolutely minimal notice of everything! My husband and I had holidays planned from dec 23-Jan 5th in Boston with his parents. So I have exactly one week to do my vaccinations and get my medical done in Vancouver. Contacted Dr. Cheema today and praying he's able to fit me in next week..then from Boston i'm planning to fly to montreal for the interview and then back to Vancouver. Phew. Did not expect the interview to be in January...was definitely thinking it would be in Feb! Anyways took me all morning to figure out logistics but i'm finally feeling good about it. At one point i thought i would have to reschedule the interview but VJer's suggested that was an incredibly bad idea with Montreal. Thanks for all the advice everyone! Will update on the ever-continuing process...

You'll likely get the interview letter email over the weekend and the case complete email next week.

Usual time frames by email:

Interview letter - within a day or two

Case complete - 7 days

As per our experience, your scan date will be considered as of 12/11/2014, but know still it's up them ,how they consider the things ,as we saw the scan dates of others going back and for....... Good luck, and keep the hopes up...... Always,... GOD HAS THE PERFECT TIMING FOR ALL OF US .....
