Hi all! Meant to write sooner but this is the first I could get on. Woke up Monday morning to an email from NVC saying that they had received all documents necessary for processing DH's visa and to wait for further information about embassy. Quickly checked CEAC to see if changed to N/A but it hadn't, still said "paid". So then I called and after 20 attempts to get through then 30 minutes on hold, NVC confirmed case complete on 11/21! It took them a week and a half to inform me.

Then woke up today to a checklist. Oh my goodness my heart dropped and I started freaking out. THANK GOD in the checklist it repeated multiple times we dont have to send anything to NVC but dh will have to bring the checklist to the interview. It has to do with something stupid on the I864a.

Anyways, good news! We have a CC!!!

Last scan date (on aos checklist) 10/10

Much luck and hope to all of you!

I believe people who see "N/A" on their AOS Fee's status would get CC with high probability,

but we can't say the opposite is always true, that is, not all people who approved by NVC see "N/A" on their portal.

Congrats anyway :dancing:

Hello all,

Please suggest.

Many people get check listed for Income section in AOS form. So, we use line number - 22 (Total Income) in that section, If we using 1040 form. ? It doesn't match with our Adjusted Gross Income, still we use Total Income only, right?

Please help.

When I spoke with about 3 different people and 1 supervisor at NVC, they all said Total income, so that's what I put.

The difference between out Total Income and Adjusted Gross Income is around 9500$. Still is it fine to use Total Income?

yes

While sending AOS package, do I need to include IRS tax schedules if I'm sending IRS Tax return transcripts ? I'm NOT self-employed.

Thanks in advance

FNU - First Name Unknown

Check how your name is spelled in the documents.. as in First Name, Middle Name & Last Name...If it is according to the passport, then you are good to go..

Good Luck

It has something to do with the passport I know that for sure. It was fine this morning when I saw it.. Does that mean NVC is reviewing my documents and that's why it changed to FNU because in the Passport my husband's full name is under Given Name?

So your last scan date was Nov 7th? Did you ask for a supervisor review?

yes I spoke to a supervisor like 4 times for about a month until they finally gave me my CC because of their mistake.(loosing all my civil documents).

if they made a mistake with any of your files just speak to a supervisor and don't give up,keep calling until you get it done. that's what I did
